1 The GCN Architecture and its associated features (PCI Express® 3.0, AMD ZeroCore Power technology, DDM Audio, and 28nm production) are exclusive to the AMD Radeon™ HD 7900, HD 7800 and HD 7700 Series.
2 AMD Eyefinity technology works with games that support non-standard aspect ratios, which is required for panning across multiple displays. To enable more than two displays, additional panels with native DisplayPort™ connectors, and/or DisplayPort™ compliant active adapters to convert your monitor’s native input to your cards DisplayPort™ or Mini-DisplayPort™ connector(s), are required. Support for six simultaneous displays may require complementary products compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 Multi-Stream Transport. Maximum number of configured displays may vary - check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies. SLS (?Single Large Surface?) functionality requires an identical display resolution on all configured displays.
3 AMD App Acceleration is a set of technologies designed to improve video quality and enhance application performance. Full enablement of some features requires support for OpenCL™, DirectCompute or DirectX® Video Acceleration (DXVA). Not all products have all features and full enablement of some capabilities and may require complementary products.
4 AMD PowerPlay™, AMD PowerTune and AMD ZeroCore Power are technologies offered by certain AMD Radeon™ products, which are designed to intelligently manage GPU power consumption in response to certain GPU load conditions. Not all products feature all technologies – check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities.
5 AMD HD3D is a technology designed to enable stereoscopic 3D support in games, movies and/or photos. Requires 3D stereo drivers, glasses, and display. Not all features may be supported on all components or systems – check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities and supported technologies. A list of supported stereoscopic 3D hardware is available at http://www.amd.com/HD3D.
6 AMD CrossFire™ technology requires an AMD CrossFire Ready motherboard, an AMD CrossFire™ Bridge Interconnect (for each additional graphics card) and may require a specialized power supply.
7 Utilization of PCI Express 3.0 bandwidth requires a mainboard equipped with a PCI Express 3.0 PHY. Not all mainboards feature this technology – check with your component or system manufacturer for specific model capabilities.

Experience: 1 Weeks
- Easily handles the latest games.
- Easy to overclock.
- Amazing cost/performance value.
- Shipped driver and beta drivers cause flickering black artifacts.
I purchased card while it was on sale for $219.99 (and have since sent away for an additional $20 rebate.
My initial experience with the card was worrying. The drivers that ship with the card and the latest beta drivers both caused black artifacts to appear all over my desktop/games etc.
Once I downloaded the latest certified driver from AMD, everything started working perfectly. I can overclock without issue.
This card can easily handle the latest games (such as Borderlands 2, X-COM, Dishonored, etc.) at max settings at 1920x1200.
I highly recommend this card (even more-so if you can buy it on sale) - just make sure to download the latest certified driver.

oc's like crazy

(more in summary)
price could be a lil lower even as this is the stock cooling solution but this card has only been out 2-3 weeks.
AMD needs to keep this up with there graphics products, very good/great product more specificaly the gpu. :)
As previous reviewer stated gpu hits 1.2 ghz with no issue using CCC with the power set for the added 20%. I also as well upgraded from a 5850 as well but a stock cooler based one from power color as well. BTW, powercolor gets alot of slack from users for not being great, but i've owned now 2 previous ones & now this one for 3 without no issues.
I have it running with this system:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T b 4 Ghz w/ Coolermaster Hyper 212+ stock fan
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline "Frostbite" DDR3 1600 16 gig's.(2 x 8 gig. kits)
Mushkin Enhanced Cronos Deluxe 120 SSD
750 Gig Seagate Baracuda 7200.11
Sound Blaster X-Fi
Coolermaster 690 Advanced II w/ Corsair HX 650
Win 7 Enterprise SP1
As of Catalyst 12.3's:
idle: 26c b 33% fan / load 56c b 38% fan in sub basement
1200 (1.2 ghz) gpu
1400 (5.6 ghz) memory
Here is a sample of preformance diffrence in World Of Tanks b 1920x1080, max detail done over a 5 minute fraps bench(note 7870 was only clocked to lower level as I was just starting to scale the clocks up):
5850 b .775/1.4 Ghz
7870 b 1.1/1.25 Ghz
Experience: 7 Days
Quiet and effective cooler
Lots of room for overclocking
Purchased this as an upgrade from a 5850, so far it exceeds all my expectations. It runs cooler and the fan is quieter, it overclocks very well as I have it at a 200 increase on the core so far. Runs all games that started to lag on my 5850 easily, great upgrade path imo. For regular price it's a little expensive considering the higher end cards, but on sale or pm'd it is a great value. On full load (100% constant load with miner) it runs less than 70c with the fan on auto which sets it at around 50%.
