- Beautiful Looking Card
- Has nice Backplate
- White LED Lighting illuminates entire area surrounding card - looks great
- at 50% fan speed - inaudible....literally, I upgraded from EVGA 970 SSC and at 50% fan speed that card sounded like a mini RC helicopter.
- Havn't had to go above 50% fans because the card stays so cool even under full load playing crysis 3, max temp I saw was 62C in a mid-tower case and I didn't even have my 120mm side fan blowing at the card so temps will be approx 3-5C cooler when I put that fan back in.
- GPU Boost 3.0 hits 2000mhz all by itself and stays there most of the time.
- Overall super impressed with this card from EVGA. I'm Glad I went with them again and will do so in the future based on 2 great gpu's in a row.
- I use this card for 1080P gaming and can get solid 60fps with maxed settings (except for AA) in MOST of the graphically demanding games out there.

- It takes awhile to get all the plastic wrap off the small parts on the card before installing into motherboard. But even that was kind of fun, like unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning!

Overall, I don't care what anyone says, my experience with Nvidia EVGA graphic cards in the last few years has never given me a reason to buy from any other company. They make quality hardware that does not disappoint....man that card is so quiet!

Summary
EVGA's custom designs are usually of slightly worse performance than that of the other brands (they usually only use reference PCBs on all but their Classifieds), with the trade-off being their better customer service reputation.
This time, however, they put out a solid cooler that's on the heels of the other 3-fan coolers, and that's with the shortest and narrowest cooler and PCB.
The card is reinforced with a metal frame and backplate sandwiching the PCB, with vents cut into the backplate to top it off. Great quality!
Initially, the card let out coil whine at 144fps, to my horror and shock, until about a few minutes later, the noise completely disappeared. YMMV.
Now, if only they had a warehouse in Canada like M*I and A*US, they would be 100% buys from me everytime... ;)
