Cons - Price should be lower for DDR2 RA, but ah well
Summary I bought this to add RAM to an old XP machine being upgraded to Windows 8. It was always pretty slow, and when I realised it had only a 1Gb stick, it was clear what the issue was.
After installing this RAM, running XP, it ran much better than before. After having it upgraded to Win 8 though, this thing actually flies. I can't believe how much life Win 8 brings to old machines!
If you're looking for cheap RAM that simply works, there's no reason to look further, unless you can find better prices.

Summary I brought this ram to give my old computer some extra boost of ram. it make some application and browsing faster. i'm very satisfy for the benefit i get for the amount of money that i pay for.

Summary Purchased this RAM pair back in December. One stick was defective and would not allow computer to boot. The other module worked fine when paired with other Kingston Corsair or PNY modules I had access to. To return the defective product the shipping cost I had to pay was equal to 78% of the cost of the RAM, just to return the defective product. Now second week of January and I still do not have working ram pair. Now they latest email from them, they tell me they have no stock, to replace the defective product yet this screen still indicates stock. I am confused. Send out defective product, make the customer pay to return defective product. Then have no stock to replace defective product even though web site indicates IN STOCK. So I am out money 78% of the cast of product even if I they refund the purchase price.
Summary We bought a whole bunch of these kits at work, and they were working perfectly for months, so I decided to get one for myself too, and had no problems, even with some picky motherboards.
