Pros -Black PCB(color of Mobo) -Supports up to 3 way SLI/Crossfire -Looks nice
Cons -Poor design on North Bridge heat sink, unable to use a PCI-E soundcard or PCI-E/SDD. -No usb3 cable adapter -poor locations for front audio & firewire interface -Price at over $217 with tax -Integrated soundcard not great -Provides SLI bridges but not Crossfire bridges
Summary Not happy with the choice I made, was planning on adding a PCI-E sound card but that is impossible unless I remove/replace the North Bridge heat sink stock. Gigabyte should have used the same concept as their GA-990FXA-UD3 N-Bridge heat sink design in which it would saved/able to use the PCI-E slot. Should have provided an USB3 adapter if you have a usb3 interface on your mobo. Why have the front audio & front firewire interface all the way back at the bottom if most/some case don't provide long enough cables to reach them. This motherboard should only be considered if you plan on not installing a soundcard & plan to do 3 way SLI/Crossfire setup.
