In terms of functionality, this is a great USB drive for both reading and writing. I'll only bother with Patriot from now on for transferring large files. They even give you a free USB extension cable, which I found useful for USB ports too narrow for this bulky drive.

I ran WinSAT disk random read/write tests on this drive. Using a FAT32 64KB allocation unit size I got:
4KB RandomRead 5.37MB/s, RandomWrite 1.18MB/s

Don't get me wrong, but this flash drive is completely amazing - it's a lot faster than the old Kingston 8GB (that was getting really slow) that I replaced, and does in fact feel and seem sturdy with the rubber casing. I chose this over the Corsair Flash Voyager for the slightly better value, and I did also read in reviews that it was somewhat faster. No cons at all, so it gets a full 5/5 from me.

This is how every memory manufacturer should build their flash drive. This thing can't break. The idea of using rubber as casing is brilliant. I'd buy another Xporter if I need another flash drive.

Fast, fast, fast read and write speeds! Downside: I'm going crazy trying to convince my coworkers that speed is an important factor when deciding on which USB drive to purchase. Most users think that only the capacity is important -- until they've tried this drive.

Bought it in sale a 22$ and would buy it again it's one of the fastest and a 22$ it was an excellent ratio of GB/$. Also if you are afraid to walk on it, that your dog may take it or just to drop it in water keep in mind that this key was made to survive you.
