The Vendetta 2 is an efficient new CPU cooler with a powerful 120mm fan design for maximum performance. Utilizing a distinctive stacked fin design and trend-setting heat pipe direct touch (HDT) design combined with a large low-noise fan, the Vendetta 2 is built to quietly solve the cooling challenges of today’s most powerful processors.

The versatile and user-friendly Vendetta 2 is compatible with AMD AM2/939/754/755 and Intel 775 sockets and can be installed quickly and easily by end-users at all skill levels.

Great quality for price. Metal isn't top tier, but is worth 5 stars at the price. With any budget custom build with the room, I got for this one. It hasn't failed me yet.

This thing really brings down temps... but it is too tall so if you don't have a wide case... it won't fit without some modifications. The clips to hold the fan to fins are a bit finicky... and you think you're gonna break them when you pull them through... but they didn't break.

Cheap mechanism which slightly complicated the installation. But, once in, works perfect. Using this on an AMD 940BE, 12C lower than the stock cooler on idle and 27C lower in full load.

Either way you mount this cooler, it's a pain, and needs to be done with the cooler outside of the case. If you use the optional backplate, one side has the screws obstructed by the plate array, and you have to use a wrench to tighten it down. If using the push pins, to have reasonable access to the pins you need to have the fan off, but trying to put on the fan while inside the case is a nightmare, due to a interesting but difficult fan mounting method.
I have to admit i was pretty excited when i got this thing for 3 dollars on boxing day. Installed with AC paste and Core #0 dropped 11c and Core #1 dropped 7c at full load. Would buy again for average cooling needs.
This has over 100 reviews because its that good. The price vs performance on this can't really be beat on a PM. Its huge and cool. It keeps my 965BE cool and the fan points stright out the top.

Bought this to replace a stock cooler and right away saw a massive difference in temps. Runs way quieter than the stock cooler too, would recommend to anyone needing to upgrade from a stock cooler.
