Pros Sound good enough for a cheap pair of speakers Easy to install
Cons Bass is not that great, but passable 3.5mm jack too loose (didn't cause any trouble so far, but I don't like that)
Summary Sound/Bass quality is okay, not the best but can't complain much for that price. Really painless setup, just plug a few things and it's ready to go.
This set of speakers came with a loose audio jack, it moves way too much in the audio port. I tested with my other speakers, headphones and concluded that it's not the port being broken, it's the jack that came with the speakers not fitting in tightly.
At times the left speaker would stop working and then resume, no idea why, it's doesn't seem to have any correlation with the loose jack, because when I twist the jack around, it doesn't effect the sound at all.
This started happening the second day I installed it for my friend. Very disappointed for the brand, I get it's a cheap set of speakers, but the wiring quality it just way too poor. I probably have to solder it if Logitech doesn't do anything about it, since NCIX's receipt clearly says they won't do anything, have to go directly to Logitech which made this super hard.
Would not buy again, it's just frustrating ever since I found out online there are tons of the same problem with this set of speakers and they never bothered fixing it.
Pros very clear cables are decent length feels sturdy with quality materials
Cons bass can get a a little crackily if you turn it up past halfway bass control only on back of subwoofer
Summary picked these up on sale for 25$, but honestly would still be happy with them at regular price, was very suprised at how clear the sound was at low/medium/high volumes. bass is decent, if you crank it past halfway though you will hear some crackling on the big bass parts, no big deal though just turn it down :)
they are "cheap" speakers but they sure dont feel like it.
Pros Cheap, good bass, nice looking, easy setup, good sound
Cons Not particularly clear, lots of wires.
Summary Considering the price of the speakers, they're great. Their sound quality doesn't degrade very much at louder volumes, and boy can they go loud. The bass is solid. They're nice looking. Fairly well constructed.
There's a lot of wire, which for some people may be a good thing, but since my work space is a single desk, the wires are a bit of a nuisance. Also, the vocals aren't as clear as I would like. I have an ASUS N56-VZ laptop that I currently have them plugged into, and the laptop has Bang & Olufsen speakers which produce better vocals, but the Logitechs beat my computer's audio in every other category.
All in all, for ~$30, I would definitely recommend these speakers.
