I bought this fan to replace an Antec case fan that went dead. I couldn't beleive how quiet it was and when I first turned on my computer with the fan installed. I could barely hear it. I would definately buy this fan again when needed.

I picked up two of the NF-S12B fans to replace two Coolermaster R4-L2R-20AC that barely lasted six months before they both started making noise.(Cheaper is not always better) Different blade configuration than the NF-P12 but they seem to work quite well as intake case fans. I am going to replace the exhaust fans as well on my case the next time these go on sale.

Bought for $9.99 on weekend sale about 6 months backs. Still working great. Tough to justify the $19.99 normal price though. Using in Antec 1200 case removed the dual 120 exhaust fans and replace with just a single of this fan temps are just as good. The accessories very useful. Needed to undervolt another fan where the MB couldn't used the Low voltage adapter worked perfectly.

The only downside to these fans is that price. They do an amazing job cooling and make so little noise that it doesn't upset me. I would highly recommend these if price is not an issue.

Overall I must admit I was plesantly surprised with this fan. I'm using this as an exhaust cooler on the rear of my case, since this fan is designed for 'open air' cooling, and not 'restrictive flow' cooling like in a CPU cooler. (If you want that, get the NF-P12-1300 instead.) I replaced a SilentX fan that had siezed after only a few years of use.
These are excellent fans. In fact, the best I've ever had. I have used CoolerMaster noisy LEDy fans with lights and noise. Do yourself a favor and buy real fans. Buy Noctua fans.

A high quality case fan, that is a cut above the rest. This should suit just about anyones needs. It's very quiet and doesn't sacrifice much airflow in doing so. The rubber mounts are great and easier to install than other rubber fan mounts I've used.
