Got this for a SFF PC that uses a SSD for the boot drive. Works well in a 2x2.5 HDD adapter along side the SSD. Only problem is that the connectors are for the two drives are very close and it is hard to plug in the power and SATA connectors. This is not a fault of the drive by any means.

got this for my 3 year old macbook and the thing zooms now. Startup, shut down, opening up iphoto or itunes, everything is quicker now. I have not noticed any change in battery life compared to my old 5400rpm drive which is nice. Also if you run vms a 7200rpm drive is a no brainer.

Overall I am really satisfied with my purchase. I was looking for a hard drive that had 7200rpm and 16mb cache. The price was right. Plenty of storage and is considerably faster than my old 100GB 5400rpm 2mb cache hdd.

I installed this in my old macbook. I found that it gave an improvement on my laptop. Before it was running a 5400rpm drive. It was easy to install. I have yet to have any problems with it.

This was a nice upgrade from my very outdated 80gb 5400RPM drive. It was easy to install, just pop it into the laptop and its ready to go. I had to buy this HDD because my old one died after 4 years of use/abuse. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a moderate upgrade for their computer. I notice some slight vibrations when it is under heavier use, but perhaps its my shaky HP shell. Also the HDD temperature doesn't run any higher than before(average 45C).

Bought this when it was on sale for a client who needed a hard drive upgrade on their MacBook Pro. Was easy to format, the speed increase was very noticeable (coming from a 5400RPM drive), so he was definitely very happy with the upgrade. I expected no less. :)

I bought this hard driver to replace my old hitachi 120G 7200 rpm 1yr ago, it always has some clicking sound pretty annoying,much more noise than hitachi, but works well, speed is noticable faster. I think it's the best value hdd in the market. recommended if it's only $66.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a fast drive (for a laptop drive that is). Despite being 7200rpm, it is no noisier than 5400rpm laptop drives. A very good alternative to the more-expensive Scorpio Black series.
