Experience: 1 Months

quad core i5 for less then $200
no hyper threading
i bought this for a mid end gaming machine i was putting together in a ITX set-up

bought it on sale for $169.99

put it together with a Gigabyte H55 itx board and 8 gig or ddr3 1600 and a 5870 gpu

no overclocking since this is in a itx case (sg07)

play BF BC2 at 1920x1200 max settings and getting over 50 fps

Experience: 3 Days

Fast, stable, plays all the games
None that I can think of
Bought this to put into a system for a guy in the office who does web presentations and plays Call of Duty. Hands down a good purchase. We are all Intel in our office and will continue to purchase more of their processors.

Experience: 1 Months

Runs cool
Better architecture than AMD's
Good price/performance
"Dead socket", the Intel way
Expensive motherboards compared to AMD's
I bought this for my friend since I already have an i5 processor already, he was very pleased with it. It overclocks well and it gets the job done.

Experience: 5 Months

work really good, good price, great for overclocking
no complaint
its a really good cpu, not the best for gaming but can work fine too. its really stable even on Oc, great performance for the price.

Experience: 4 Months

4 core, great midrange
760 is the same price
Great midrange CPU. Stock cooler isn't too bad. Haven't OC'ed yet but will definitely need a new one to push anything at all.

Experience: 3 Months

Good processor for the price
The 760 is out now so better option right now
Was for a server for a client and it runs very well since 3 month, good quality processor but since the 760 is out now, better go with the 760

Experience: 1 Months

Fast, stable and awesome
Gotta love Intel CPUs, they are awesome and stable.I bought I5 750, instead of 760. Because I am OC it with my ASUS MB. Easy to OC.

Experience: 3 Months

- Cheap price
- Best bang for buck
- None
Bought this cpu not so long ago and it has been very good to me so far. Running win7 on it very smoothly, plays games no problem.

Experience: 18 Months

Great Chip for overclocking on most motherboards.
Hyperthreading would be great but it is understandable why it isnt.
Awesome Cpu with excellent potential for overclocking, great for gaming basic computing, entry level boards and getting a system to compete with a high end system! Best bang for buck.

Experience: 12 Months

-Very quick
-Was a decent o/c'r
-Runs cool
-The chip that I got required extra voltage to reach 4GHz
-No hyper threading
Great bang for your buck. I was able to reach 4GHz fairly easily but required extra voltage. Make sure you have a decent heatsink if you are looking to reach 4 or higher

Comment: Alright, so the Core i5-750, specifically, is priced well. What is there to like about it? Reasonable power consumption, a base clock rate comparable to Intel’s Core i7-920, a more-aggressive Turbo Boost able to take the chip to 3.2 GHz in single-threaded workloads, CrossFire and SLI compatibility—i
