AMD has been competing with Intel on value and this is top of the line for it. 4 cores for less than $100, there is no way you can go wrong with this purchase. Very fast and beats my old Intel Core E6400 easily (even when the latter is overclocked). Only problem is the crap heatsink packaged with the CPU. You will really need a better one when all 4 cores are stressed.

This little CPU is a good overclocker. I have not tried it with an aftermarket cooler since it was a friend's PC but I managed to run it at 3.4GHz fully stable on the stock cooler, toughing a full stress test.

I love this CPU, if your looking for a cheep quad this is it. Anyone could pm this under $99. handles programs with ease. I easily ocd this to 3.2Ghz and it stays under 40c on max load with aftermarket heat sink.

2nd cheapest quad core out there right now other than AMD Athlon x4 620. But I highly suggest you get this (630) because its only a bit more but oc and power is much better.

I bought two Athlon II X4 630 CPUs so that I can begin replacing all my older Phenom CPUs. I replaced a Phenom 9750 and 9850BE each with this Athlon 630. This new CPU runs in the mid to high 40s overclocked to 3.2GHz on stock voltage with aftermarket cooling when loaded!

Bought 2 of these for separate builds and I'm very pleased with these. You can't go wrong for 100$ with a quad core. And since I out them in mid-range computers the lack of L3 isn't felt as badly especially in everyday tasks. Compared to the intel offerings at the same price range, this is a much better buy.

the stock heatsink that came with it is extremely small. Although i didnt plan to overclock it so it should be ok. Price is cheap compare to years ago. Would buy again for sure.

This CPU rocks. Price match it and it can be your for less than $100. Way better value than Intel C2Q Q8200 and isn't on a dieing socket (LGA 775). Overclocks decently, should push to at least 3.0GHz without any voltage increase. Its about 70% of the performance of the i5 750 bust cost less than half the price.
