The EAP-3660 is a smoke detector looking Wireless Access Point / Universal Repeater that operates seamlessly in the 2.4GHz frequency spectrum supporting the 802.11b (2.4GHz, 11Mbps) standard and SuperG 108Mbps high speed feature. It's the best way to add wireless capability to your existing wired network or to add bandwidth to your wireless installation.
EAP-3660 features high wireless output power and receive sensitivity along with antenna diversity. High output power and high sensitivity extend wireless coverage to reduce the roaming between Access Points and to provide a reliable wireless connection. It also reduces the total cost of ownership on hardware.
To protect your wireless connectivity, it can encrypt all wireless transmissions through 64/128-bit WEP data encryption and also supports WPA/WPA2. The MAC address filtering lets you select exactly which stations should have access to your network. In addition, the User Isolation function can protect the private network between client users.

Until a year ago, I was a network installation technician and did lots of wireless installs from offices, factories, hotels, warehouses, schools, large retail stores, and massive distribution centres. I wish I knew about these AP's then. I love these Access Points. They are small and discreet in appearance. They include an AC adapter, but if you have PoE switches (or a separate power injector), they are PoE capable out of the box.

to a 15% restocking fee. No refunds will be issued for blank media,

printer supplies, paper, projectors (and accessories), appliances,
handhelds, PDAs, notebook computers, special order computers and
special order items.
Defective software, video games or DVDs
will be replaced by the SAME title and format ONLY (and subject
to current availability) within 30 days of the Invoice date. Software,
video games and DVDs may be returned within 30 days only if the
item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
of NCIX.com.
