Pros
- Price
- Easy Setup
- Pushed firmware update
Cons
- None to my need
Summary
Bought this to replace my WRT54GC, which finally broke after 9 years. So far, setting up this router is no brainer. I'm satisfy with its range in my apartment. You might want to reconsider in buying something gives wider range like Asus RTN66U for better coverage.

Pros
Cheap open source N router
Cons
Version 2 limits options
Summary
Bought with the intent of loading DD-WRT
Turns out that you can't load all firmwares because it's version 2, a lot of builds can only use v1. That's acceptable because it worked in the end but I would have liked to know before I bought.

Pros
Fast, good firmware, tomato support
Cons
none
Summary
The router is great, it can handle my torrent with many connection (my old wrt54g was dropping each time).

Had to buy a new router to have something reliable for my new Obi110

Experience: 2 Years
Pros
Lots of possibilities, Good price now (was pricier before), gigabit and N all in one. Open Source!
Cons
Wireless could be stronger.
Summary
At release, it was one of the first open source router with gigabit and G support(almost 3 years ago).

Bought it 2 year ago and it's working fine since. Tried with DD-wrt and Tomato and i kept Tomato. Had no problem and you can configure some advanced settings like QOS, DDns, bandwidth monitor.

The wireless strength is not always strong. Hard to tell if it's the router, the laptop or something in the street.

If you want to install open source firmware, there is a nice community at myopenrouter.com.
I'm using Toastman's Tomato Firmware for WNR3500L w/ USB (Ext) 1.28.something

Experience: 10 Months
Pros
Solid router giving great speeds and long uptime. Custom firmware.
Cons
Only single band wireless.
Summary
Great upgrade after having a WRT54G for years. I have been running Tomato on it since day 1 with very few problems. My only problems relate to Tomato and implementation of QOS. I've had the wireless drop  on some devices from time to time but I have a feeling those are device related rather than router related.

Pros
TomatoUSB
450 MHz CPU
GBE
TomatoUSB!
Cons
weak antennas
PITB to flash 3rd-party firmwares (TomatoUSB!)
Summary
Great router when running TomatoUSB. No trouble doing speedtests on a 50/3 cable connection; should be good to 70 Mbps or so of routed throughput (depends on packet size and other factors of course).

I love this router and I've deployed a few of them, besides using one as an AP in my own home, but I find the regular price a little high. I never pay more than $65 for these.

Unless you need the GBE LAN ports or the higher throughput, you may want to consider the WNR2000-200PAS, which is not available here but can be had for significantly less money at some other places, or the RT-N16 which has comparable specs but better antennas.

Pros
worked great until it died after 2 and a half months
Cons
none yet. although possibly a little pricey.
Summary
works fine on my system. gigabit lan speeds are fast. Haven't had a single issue with this unit. I have not tried sharing a usb drive on the network through the router as I dont' need that with all my computers networked and my own online storage. So far the stock firmware is working just fine, so will leave it alone for now..
Edit: It died 3 weeks ago. For some reason it just stopped knowing it's own gateway address. No amount of resets or 30 30 reboots would get it to work properly. Maybe a firmware update  might have fixed but I didn't have time to play with it.
Not satisfactory - completely unsatisfactory...

Experience: 3 Months
Pros
- DDWRT and Tomato support
- Easy to press on/off button
- Wireless on/off button
- USB port
- Good range
Cons
- Outer casing is a dust and fingerprint magnet
- Boot up time
Summary
Flashed with TomatoUSB first thing and has been running flawlessly as a print server for the past 3 months.

I love how the on/off reset button can pressed with my finger. With my previous D-Link router, I always had to hunt for a pencil or pen to poke the tiny reset button LOL

The router also has surprisingly good wireless range with no external antennas. I was able to connect to it from 2 floors above where I installed the router.
