Pros - Great quality case for a budget PC - All black, unique styling. - Lots of room for expansion - Great airflow/cable management.
Cons - Great Value? For sure. But when you start adding in, say more fans, the price increases ($5 per fan)... so you may want to look into other cases that already have 2-3 more fans pre-installed.
- Not sure if it's just me, but if you have a Optical Disk Drive in the top 5.25" Bay, it semi-blocks one of the top vents for a 120mm fan... maybe put a small fan controller there... - Lacks a fan controller... heh.
Summary I bought the case for $25 (after MIR). That makes it the cheapest (yet decent) case I have seen on the market.
Pros Amazing value, great functionality, lots of room, nice style, great cable management, phenominal airflow.
Cons the removable side panel is flimsy and thin.
Summary Love this case, bought it not from NCIX, but from canada computers last year for $10!!!!!! (49.99-10.00 instant discount -30.00 rebate). Amazing value, great functionality, lots of room, nice style, great cable management, phenominal airflow. Definitely reccomend!
Summary I love this case. Its a great case for someone building their first case but also just a great case for anyone. Plenty of space to add fans, oversized GPU. Solid build. good cable managment. My only complaint is that installing a dvd drive in the bottom slot is almost useless as the usb and esata ports are tilted up and that puts them directly in the way. Other than that its great buy for the money.
Summary Fantastic design on the budget, the aluminium body is light but oh is it sturdy. Comes with plenty of screws and is a great modular design. Tons of vents and tons of spots to put fans on the case. The case also has slots to place neon lights, but can get bright.
Pros Big and Lots of Room. Painted inside. Lots of air flow.
Cons For the price, no complaints!
Summary This case is great! Its pretty, lots of space inside, plenty of room for optional fans. It also fits the larger video cards and cpu heatsinks without and issue. Its even painted inside! How much better can you get for such a low price.
Cons Side panels a bit flimsy, gets cramped quick, especially behind the motherboard panel
Summary NZXT kinda caught me off guard here, nice price, and a VERY nice looking case, loaded with good features! This replaced my 355 Elite, and I'm all the happier for it. This case ACTUALLY fits my H50 kit! The cable routing behind the motherboard panel is nice, but gets very cramped very quickly. My OCZ700W cables had to be flattened and squished to get the back panel on, and even then it was a bugger to close up. Lots of space for fans though, so it keeps everything fairly reasonable, temperature wise.
* All black
* Many drive bays to use
* Can have up to six fans installed
* Decent wire management
* Knockouts for wiring in motherboard tray
* Great low price
* Water cooling ready
* Air filter for PSU intake
* Heatsink backplate access
Garnering playable frame rates from entry-level hardware often requires ambitious overclocking. We test four gamer-oriented cases to see if they're able to serve up the cooling needed to push mainstream hardware to hardcore performance levels.
For an entry level case, you get a lot of bang for your buck with the NZXT Gamma. Not only is it built for ventilation, it is also quite light-weight. The only real drawback is that it does not have any external 3.5 inch bay for the addition of a media reader
when you consider the cost of this chassis, it's hard to look elsewhere. It's basic, yes, but it gets the job done and leaves plenty of room for future expansion, helping you to not not break the bank when purchasing the parts for an entirely new system, which can be very costly all together
