i purchased this for 4 ssd's that i put in to my computer, 2 per windows install and it works great and looks good doing it. I am using 2 vertex 2's and 2 force series ssds and i havent had a problem. the 2 fans in the back have no speed control on the one that was shipped to me, but there not that loud anyway. this thing is fgreat for ssd storage i really like the taking one 5.25 bay and turning it in to a 4x2.5 bay thats just great.

The model that I purchased was the newer design -A model, but my unit still had the dual SATA/SAS port connections (note: it was not purchased at NCIX). I am using it with consumer SATA drives and have not tested it with SAS.
In short it works very nicely, the blue led's for the hard drive activity light match very nicely with my fan controller, Blu-ray burner, and Case light. The best part is fits nicely in 1 drive bay and holds 4 SSD's. Also, provides cooling
