I just recently pieced together a small HTPC and I hated using a wireless keyboard and mouse to navigate and watch movies on my TV. Saw this little AIO mini Keyboard and Mouse combo and have not regretted the purchase. A must have for those with HTPC's at home as this is just slightly bigger than a TV remote but the functionality of a keyboard and mouse. Also great for office presentations as you don't have to sit at your laptop while talking. Only problem is that there is no backlight feature so that this device can be used in the dark. Overall though a very good buy

This is a great little device for the HTPC crowd, I have 2 HTPC's and needed a a keyboard mouse combo for the Bedroom HTPC, it needed to be small unobtrusive and have a small usb dongle (my Bedroom HTPC is a mini ITX system in a M-350 case)
it works great, easy to switch between shows , turn off the PC etc.. would have been nice to have back lit keys, but for 50$ you cant complain. fits nicely on my night stand with out taking up space.

I'm not going to fault this device for not having a backlight; though it would have made it a lot easier to use, presumably the battery life would have suffered. But when you design a device in a sophisticated company, you consider how it will be used. For example, a keyboard for a media PC would probably benefit from being able to easily zoom and unzoom text in a browser. Yet inexplicably the + key requires a Fn press. Even though, bizarrely, there's a key dedicated to control-alt-delete.
I bought this for a HTPC and it is awesome, we have movies stored on a network drive and watch on our tv with an HTPC hook up. Takes away from having a keyboard and mouse in livingroom, highly recommend for this use. Was very easy to get running, it really is a plug and play on win 7.

Been looking for a remote solution for a wile and nothing "did it" for me but this. I looked/researched at it for a couple weeks and finally made the plunge. Sixty-plus dollars may seem like a lot, thats because it is. Luckily this is a quality product so you wont feel burned if you buy this. Smaller than I thought it would be which is good since I will be using this as a remote when on the couch. Just love the feel of this thing and I am really impressed with the range. if it was forty dollars i would recommend to anyone as it is; its only for those with true grit.

I was hesitant to see how this unit would turn out. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a well engineered and built little peripheral that is essential for HTPC (unless you enjoy balancing a keyboard/mouse on your sofa). The trackball takes some getting used to and the keyboard is very tiny but it all works. I wouldn't want to write a novel with it but I do use it quite often for casual surfing.
On the whole, it's the missing link that makes my HTPC complete. I used to juggle a wireless mouse (Logitech MX-1000) and keyboard (Apple Bluetooth) but no more. This is a huge step foward because I am now down to 2 remotes: a unified IR remote (Sony RM-VL610) for the TV, BD, etc and this Lenovo wireless keyboard/mouse to drive the HTPC (where most of my media lives).
