Overall I got this for a steal for the $100 sale price. For $100 this is a five star purchase without question. However I would not purchase this product for the full $250. Only complaint is you can not tweak the sound as much as I would like, but the sound quality is great overall. For $100 this is an excellent buy, but at $250 I would only give it 3/ 3.5 stars. If you have been looking for new computer speakers and find these on sale, go for it, if they are not there is better for that kind of money in my opinion.

The best ever Pc sound system i had buy is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. I buy this one for my tv system in the basement. When i buy it, it was 89.99$, so i'm thinking 'it is a very good deal', wrong, too expensive at this price too for the very poor quality and power of the sound. I have an system of Edifier s330d too, and it is very good compare to this one. My first recommendation is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1.

I got these speakers on sale for $89.99. They sound decent for that price but they are NOT worth the regular price of $249.98! It takes some adjusting to make them sound so they will not hurt your ears (turn up bass and turn down treble). Also there is no way to turn off that annoying light ring around the volume knob. All you can do is switch it to a less annoying mode, but that only can be done from the remote control.

It was time to replace my aging 6 year old logitech z640's, and seeing as how i only used two channels on the 5.1 speaker system maybe 99% of the time i decided to go with a more desk space saving 2.1 speaker. Overall i am happy with my purchase, although i dislike how you need to really pump up the volume before the sub starts to pound. buyer beware: there is no way to turn off the flamboyant orange light ring, the best you can do is change the setting from a raving lightshow to a constant glow, this can only be done with the remote though i've checked. If you lose the remote be prepared to get the sanity driven right out of you with endless strobe lighting.

These speakers do exactly what I wanted them to, there are mixed reviews about the quality of the sound, so hopefully I can clarify. You really need to pay attention to the settings on your connected devices, and the current mode on this device which can only easily be set using the remote as there is no display, just a treble and a bass button on the front, and a patterned stobe that the lighting artorund the volume dial indicates. My opinion is to read the manual quickly to configure the device so you are personally pleased with the sound. I know I am now. :)

Very good speakers, have had 5.1 and 2.1 logitech speakers and none of them sounded so good.only problem is that i cant get the bass to sound good with out it be so loud it hurts my ears. i would give it a 7.5 out of 10

I can't imagine paying full retail for these. Thank goodness they were on sale for $99. The sting still hurts though. I though I could replace my really old Cambridge Sound Works CSW1500 4.1 system that's currently hooked up as a 2.1 system… but I was wrong. I have Sony speakers and paid about the same retail price, but these new ones are truly disappointing.
