- Well Built
- Nice Cable management
- Nice big fans
- Hardly any noise
- Tool less bays
- SSD bracket
- All painted black
- LED on and off switch
- Good Cooling
- Could of had cover for SATA hotswap circuit board (like corsair does)
- Firewire (very few people use this should not be on case)
Overall nice case really nice to work with. Has good cable management and not noisy fans due to the size of them.

Experience: 4 Years
Rugged design
Cable management
Hdd trays/management
Dust Filters
I've mostly built computers in full tower cases, but this case is exceptionally large and just exceptional in general. I mentioned weight in Pros and Cons since I prefer a nice heavy, solid feeling case to put all my expensive components in, but it doesn't make it the easiest to move around or take to a lan party. I love all the cable management in this case, I'm not sure how it stacks up to the newer cases, but it was one of the best when I bought it. It happened to also be one of the few cases that could fit my cpu cooler in it. I believe I have the Noctua NH-D14 if I remember correctly, either way it's massive. Also this case comes pre-stocked with tons of cooling for a normal build, but I purchased and installed the rest of the fans (for the empty slots) as well. I believe the previous HAF case also didn't come with dust filters for the fans, but this one does. Overall, I'm not sure there is much I don't like about this case, mine is 4 years old and I still love it. It's a great looking box.

Experience: 3 Years
Great case. Tons of space and fan capacity. Cable management features are a plus.
Adding the second 200mm on the top can be a pain.
I love this case. Lots of space for pretty much anything you might want to do. It looks great too which is a plus because, hey, if you're spending a lot of money on a computer, it might as well look awesome.

The only downside to it (other than it's bulk, but that's the price of having elbow room) that I've found is adding the second 200mm fan on the top that it has space for. You have to pop the top off (which is really not hard once you figure out what you are doing. Just don't make the same stupid mistake I did - there are six clips, not four ;)). The only issue with this is you need to carefully route the front USB and switch cables around the fan, and it's a little tight. If you snap the top back on too quickly, you could easily break the connectors.

Minor annoyance, really. It's a 5/5 product to me.

Lots of space
Lots of fans
Great cable management
Some of the screws that came with mine were too small for the proper holes but it came with extras.
This is a great case. It keeps things cool, it's quiet, and it has a ton a space.

Beautiful, tons of bays, cool performance, led on/off switch
Instructions are a bit vague and leave much to be desired.
NCIX provided great customer service and timely delivery. Cooler Master has done a fantastic job in developing the HAF X to provide a beautiful case that provides excellent cooling and spacious interior.

* Looks great
* Great cable management
* Trays for HDD
* Sturdy (but Feels a bit cheap in the front)
* Silent
the case is great! There's even a button to tun on/off the LED.
Bought it with these:
CPU: Intel Core I7 4770K
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z87
Ram: Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M4A1866C9B
GPU: EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler
SSD: Samsung 840 EVOSeroes MZ-7TE250BW
HDD: WD Green 2TB
OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64bit
Optical drive: Asus DW-24F1ST
PSU: Corsair AX860
it is working great.

Experience: 5 Months
SIZE,Loads of HDD Trays, decent Cable management
Cheap LED, for its price (Fan slots not all loaded)GPU Bracket only supports Ref. design, Cant Front mount an H100 due to HDD tray being in the way
Fits everything i need, some things feel cheap others feel ok, good cable management space,Fans do not come loaded (you get a front 200mm,1 200mm top, and rear 140mm fan) Would it of killed Cooler Master to put one more 200mm fan in .. LED on the front 100mm burned out a week after owning the system. Would of also liked to be able to mount my H100 in the front but HDD Cage gets in the way shame..
Not to mention there Fans are Really Cheap and Hardly move Air.
Overall Solid Case for my build.. Would buy it again but.. would most likely go to there Higher end cosmo if i had the Cash so it gets a 3 star More cons then pro's like the case. but at near 200 mark expected a bit more

Good price on sale.
Looks great.
The big fans are very quiet and do a great job keeping the inside of the case cool.
See summary below. Not really cons, just things you may want to know when building your system.
The front panel USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports seem to be upside down to me. It does not make much difference for cable connections but for flash drives with LEDs, it would be nice if they faced up. Maybe they can easily be turned around and the next time I take off the top of the case I will check that.

Check to see that the red power and hard drive leds are plugged into the holes.

You can mount a radiator in the top of the case but beware that when you snap the top cover into place that you may have a very difficult time getting the top cover off again. The radiator may block your access to the plastic tabs locking the top cover in place. The next time I take off the top case I will cut off those tabs. 4 tabs out of 6 should still be enough to hold down the top cover.

The side case fan should really come with some sort of magnetic easy connect. It is very awkward trying to hold the heavy side panel and connecting the fan cable to the motherboard fan header. I solved this problem with a 3-pin fan extension cable.

The 2 hot swap drive bays leave large empty holes in your front panel when they are removed. My last hot swap drive bay had a hinged door that flipped up when you inserted the drive. Here you need to keep your hot swap drives in the bay or if you have two optical drives installed, you can use those front bay drive panels for the empty hot swap bays.

You can only use the side panel air duct or the VGA bracket but not both. There is also an air duct you can attach to the hard drive bay to direct the air to your graphics cards. I found that impossible to install due to power cables especially the ones connected to the graphic card.

It is a heavy steel case and when filled it gets even heavier. Plan for that.

Experience: 2 Years
My model has been sitting in a box for the last two years, since I bought it on a special sale plus free shipping (Same price as now). I fired it up a few days ago and all is fine, and I'm not disappointed about putting mostly new hardware into an old box.. I probably won't be shown as verified buyer..
I like the improvements over my HAF 932.
What everyone else said - good build quality, etc...
See below - perhaps not a con for most.
Back in the day lots of us had heaps of cheap fun going at cases with Dremel tools, angle grinders, etc. Well at least it gave me an appreciation of what this and my other CM case (932) offers and the impeller fans and huge Panaflos from SGI machines make nice curios. These cases are far beyond what I figured out.

Gosh I would have loved a 7x5.25 case! One bay for the BR/DVD drive and six left to put a couple of CM's cheap Cooler Master "STB-3T4-E3 3X5.25IN to 4X3.5IN Drive Bay Convertor Silver Black w/ 120mm Fan" As it is with less bays and with hot-swap bays being the lower two, one could use a main drive plus 8 data drives, and just use the hot swap bays for parity drives (Snapraid / Flexraid etc. Experience has shown me that hot swap bays get hotter than I like with anything except WD reds.

Comment: Cooler Master made a big splash with the introduction of the original HAF chassis, and they have continued to develop and refine the design, resulting in the HAF X that we've seen today. Comment: The HAF-X is an excellent case which has the right balance of construction, features and pricing. Itt will tempt even budgeters to go for a top-end system.

Comment: USB 3.0 ports on the front, aggressive styling and quiet. However, fans are a bit of a compromise as they tend to spill air all over the place instead of placing it where it needs to be.

Comment: Incredible features, a great design, very easy to use, proper cooling and sure you can camp in the thing as it is so spacious. The HAF-X is once again a top notch addition to the HAF series PC cases, we're going to grant  it our best top pick award.

Comment: The new and improved HAF 933. "The HAF-X more than deserves the 'Dam Good' award, and its likely to be the best case in its category that we review all year"

Comment: Cooler Master is calling the HAFX the flagship of the HAF series this should tell you that the case is going to be a beast, and will most likely outperform the other models.
