Cooler
The Corsair Hydro Series H60 is a fantastic choice for cooling. With a new micro-channel cold plate and a split-flow designed manifold, the H60 brings remarkable new technologies to an affordable price point. If that weren’t enough, the H60 also features an all-new fan, custom designed to offer enhanced static pressure, which means better cooling.
Quieter
You don’t have to sacrifice performance to build a quiet system. Most high-performance coolers use crude, outdated designs that rely on two techniques: put a huge hunk of metal in your case or crank the fan to obnoxiously loud noise levels. The Hydro Series coolers feature innovative, cutting-edge designs that utilize the superior thermal conductivity of liquid over air to provide fantastic cooling at much lower noise levels. In fact, the H60 is similar in noise levels to a 120mm case fan you probably already have.
Easy to Install
Almost any case with a rear 120mm fan mount location can house the Hydro Series H60 CPU cooler. And don’t worry about compatibility with your CPU, we’ve got you covered. AMD® sockets AM2 and AM3 are covered, and without having to install a custom backplate, making the H60 a great choice for any modern AMD CPU up to the new Phenom six-core processors. And when it comes to Intel®, don’t worry about it. Whether you’ve got Socket LGA775, LGA1155, LGA1156, or LGA1366, we’ve got compatibility inside the box. That’s right, even the brand new Core i5 and Core i7 2x00 series processors are supported, right out of the box.
The Corsair Advantage
With more than 15 years of building enthusiast-grade memory and components, we’ve earned a reputation for quality, compatibility, and performance. Need help? We’re available by phone call, email, or web forum.

After an easy install, it's a game of if you get annoyed by all the relatively loud sounds it makes but I can't complain since it's working better than the stock cooler.

Well the H60 is great. have to say that it runs great. love how quiet it is and with the custom build and a blue led fan it looks even nicer.

I installed one of these yesterday. The installation went smoothly, but not sure why people complain about instructions. It's so easy "a caveman could do it". I hear absolutely no noise from that pump at all. I actually had to confirm it was running, it was so quiet it made me nervous. The fan that came with it, barely even any noise from that, unless I have my ear close to the puter. Just a simple "wooshing" from the air. I ran it for awhile and barely any heat coming from it. I am a happy camper.

I bought this heatsink to replace my old Zalman CNPS9500 on a Intel Core 2 Q9550. On my Zalman, I was hitting 45 degrees celsius idling and 70 degrees celsius under load.
Ive worked with a few of these now for various builds, and they are a breeze to install. Personally for my own builds I think its worth it to pay a bit more for the H100 if your case can handle it, but if you just want a nice moderate yet stable overclock, this is a great choice. Always had good results from Corsair, and their service is excellent if you did ever have a problem.

Got this to cool my AMD FX 8150. It is really no enough (even in a push/pull configuration). So I installed it on a i5 (unlocked) setup and work perfectly. (1GHZ overclock, bump in voltage and still rock solid at 50c).

Was able to overclock my CPU 1.06 GHz while keeping it a lower temperature than the stock cooler when pushing it to 100% across all cores. The fact that it pushed all the heat outside of the case, means the internal temperature of the case is better for keeping chipsets and other components cool.
