I was able to lay my hands on this drive previously used, this model is now discontinued. I own other SSD drives and by comparing its performance I can tell that writes are noticeably slower than other drives of mine. Running ATTO benchmarking test reveals why, as the recorded write speeds are about a quarter of the speeds in reads. There are a lot of positive comments from other users of this drive mostly in relation to the low cost and reasonable reliability, well time will tell. I have to agree with one thing however, it beats the conventional/rotating drive
hands down. Looks like not a speed demon, but does inoprove the performane of a PC or a laptop for sure.

Finally gave in to my secondary PC and gave it a SSD. With an Intel SSD on my main system, Crucial would be a great buy here. While the $/gb is higher on the 64GB units, it was more than I needed and kept the overall price down. Immediate gratification with the performance jump and made my old C2D E6600 feel like new again.
Got this for a budget comp, 64 gigs is more then enough for windows, and a SSD keeps a computer feeling fast even years later. Bit pricier then I wanted for a 64 gig, was hoping for closer to $1/gig but I understand why its more expensive. Very stable/steady drive, not prone to having issues unlike another SSD maker.

I'd go for the 128gb one, this one is a bit overpriced although it's great as an os drive. It feels as if im holding nothing in my hand, this is not meant to be the fastest drive but one with excellent reliability, reviews seem to favor this drive also. 5/5 Great buy, but would wait at a lower price! Bought this in-store.

This little drive is great, not the fastest SSD on the market, not the biggest but at time of purchase this was a great value for what I wanted to use it for!
Although this SSD has a lower write speed than competing models, it sacrifices this speed in favor of using much less power, which makes it perfect for a laptop.
