Costs much less than an Apple bluetooth mouse, is for my Mac Book Pro laptop. ONCE WORKING, does the basic mouse functions as needed and desired.
1. Challenging to get the Mac Book Pro to recognize it automatically. Needs a "PRAM" reset to see it. Simple and safe to do.
2. Doesn't do all the fancy things that a bigger, bulkier Apple blue tooth mouse can do.
This lightweight small mouse works wonderfully well with my MB Pro. I have owned two of them. I lost the first one on a cruise boat, so 6 months later purchased a second.

I both times initially could not get my MB Pro to recognise the blue tooth connection. VERY FRUSTRATING, was ready to return it.

With the second purchase I had forgotten what the trick was, until I went on line. Here is the trick:

You need to reset the MB Pro “parameter random-access memory” or PRAM. Once done, I was connected.

start by shutting down your Mac.
Hold down the four Cmd+Option+P+R keys as you reboot the machine.
You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Continue holding those keys until you hear the computer chime twice, and then you can release them.

Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Is so, use System Preferences to restore your settings.

THEN, your new baby should connect with the MB Pro, and you will have your dopamine surge for the day!!

Sleek look, fairly straightforward setup.
Regular disconnection issues
After several days of working okay, the mouse began to stop functioning from time-to-time. Often it's just a matter of 5-10 seconds, but sometimes it completely stops working until I uninstall and reinstall the device.

Experience: 3 Years
nice little mouse
decent battery life
doesn't come with bluetooth dongle
I picked up this neat little mouse for use with my laptop that I also got from NCIX.
Works like a charm, have only had to change the batteries once or twice after almost 3 years.
Not heavy and has extra buttons for smoother web browsing and optimized gaming!

Nice size
Wakes up quickly
2 DPI settings
Nice rubber grips
Tracks well.
Laptop wakes it up when turned on quite quickly.
Has separate forward/backward buttons
Looks good - similar to Logitech products
Side buttons for fwd/back are located a little too far back on the mouse.
On/Off switch feels a little cheap
Overall I really like this mouse. The size is about perfect for my laptop use.
I wanted a bluetooth mouse to free up my USB ports and this does the job very well.
I've had great luck with Gigabyte products in the past including motherboards and video cards so I was pretty confident I would like this product - and I DO!!
Don't know about battery life yet but I'm sure it will be fine. I've got lots of Eneloop AAA's Ni-Mh batteries so not too worried about battery costs.
All in all - a great little mouse which I am very happy with.

Plug & Play.
Bluetooth functionality is good.
Low Battery Life (2 months)
Useless side buttons
Looks ergonomic, but does not feel like it.
The Duracell batteries just died on me after 2 months of average use (I did turn it off when not in use). This is less than the 3 months advertised.

The side buttons are awkwardly positioned and hence useless. Any time I try to press them, my index finger will twitch and inadvertently hit the left mouse button :( This may or may not be true for others depending on hand size. The sides (thumb and pinky grips) are curved too far inward. They would be more ergonomic if curved outward, especially the pinky side. This mouse is definitely better for SMALLER hands.

The Bluetooth works fine. Just plug and play. There are rare instances of freezing (usually fixed by pressing button beneath mouse OR turn off/on).

I have adjusted to this mouse these last 2 months and would say that it is average. The Bluetooth is a nice convenience. The battery life is disappointing.

Plastic carrying case, 5 buttons, simple setup, long battery life
No DPI customization
I had been using Logitech M510 mouse with my laptop. Although its USB dongle is very small, it took up one of three USB ports on my laptop. I had been looking for a bluetooth mouse for a while, and Razer Orochi was tempting but it was more than I was willing to spend. There were others, but they were all missing the side buttons (back and forward), which I must have.

This mouse was on sale for CAD$25, and I decided to bite.

As soon as I opened the box, there was a pleasant surprise, a plastic carrying box. There are other mouses that comes with a cloth pouch, but when you are carrying the mouse around in a bag with other cables and things, pouch doesn't really protect the mouse. This plastic box is bulky, but it has a nice foam padding to hold the mouse in place. The mouse fits tightly into the foam cutout and I can shake the case really hard and the mouse is not getting knocked around in the case.

Obviously, it is a laptop mouse, so it is small, about the same size as other laptop mouses like Logitech MX Anywhere. It has rubber paddings on either sides to help with the grip and the side buttons on the left side is well-positioned. The buttons do not feel as solid as Logitech MX Anywhere, but it works fine. There is a DPI toggle button below the scroll wheel, and it can be clicked to switch between 800 and 1600 DPI. Unfortunately, there is no program/driver from Gigabyte to customize the DPI settings.

Pairing with my laptop (Thinkpad X220) was simple and never had an issue with connection. If the mouse has not been used for a minute or two, it is going to take a second for the mouse to start working again. Laser tracking works fairly good on most surfaces, except glass. It uses 2 AAA batteries for power and it is advertised to last 4+ months. I shall see.

I love the mouse. If I need to, I can use my Razer Diamondback for gaming. But, when I am on the road, this mouse is almost perfect. Obviously, if you are looking for a full-size mouse, look elsewhere. But, if you want a well-priced, 5-button, bluetooth mouse, this is it. AND it comes with a nice carrying case to boot.

Light/2xAAA batteries
Easy to setup
Slightly difficult to hold
Slightly difficult to use thumb back/forward buttons
Must have BT receiver on your PC already
It is basically the cheapest bluetooth mouse with 5 buttons. Other BT and Wifi mice in this range don't have as many features or look very uncomfortable to hold due to their gimmicky shapes. (I'm looking at you, SONY) It doesn't come with its own BT dongle, but those are cheap and most decent laptops/netbooks will come with one.

It's fairly small and compact, but still quite chunky due to its height. It is a bit hard to hold, in part due to its size, but mainly due to how glossy the shell top is. It does not have much surface area to grasp, due to its size, but the limited area you can grasp is very slick. You are sort of forced to pinch the sides with your thumb and ring finger, while your index and middle finger just slide right off the top buttons.

Speaking of buttons, the thumb buttons are actually quite hard to hit. Your thumb is already pinching the mouse, so you need to give up moving the mice in order to hit the thumb buttons. Now, this doesn't seem so terrible at first, but, as it turns out, the thumb buttons are also _recessed_. This makes it doubly difficult to use them. Again, the LMB and RMB are very slick. They are also at such an angle that your fingers slide off when trying to depress them. Thankfully, the scroll wheel and MMB is very easy to use.

It is better than a trackpad. There is clearly room for improvement, however the same can be said for virtually all other compact BT mice.

In fact, I have not seen a single compact BT mouse that looks remotely usable, ever, so you might as well buy this one, with more buttons.
