Experience: 1 Years
Pros
Price (Under $100 when Price Matched or on Sale)
Quad Core
OC Potential
Cons
95W
Runs Hotter than Intel Chips
Summary
This is a terrific little processor, I put it into a friends PC that I built for them and it's been working flawlessly 24/7 for a year. If you can purchase one of these on sale or price match it below $90 you'll be laughing all the way to the bank because you've pretty much just robbed NCIX.
5 Stars due to working well for over a year in terrible conditions, damn cats!

Pros
Great Overclocking potential - Got up to 5.0GHz Stable (When liquid cooled)
Good price to performance
Cons
Runs at around 30 degrees celsius out of the box with stock heatsink at idle, which is a bit warm for what I like.
Original heatsink is very loud, most likely due to the 4000rpm fan.
Not available at ncix right now :P
Summary
This processor is a pretty decent processor from AMD. It didn't live up to the hype it generated way back when the processors first came out at a much higher price (which is why they dropped very low quite quickly). However, because this price is so low, I couldnt be happier with this processor. It is great for overclocking your system, and is good for a budget, or value PC. I would buy this line of processors again, but would probably step up to the 6 core or 8 core, for more power and performance. Don't get this processor if you are not planning to replace the cooler though, as it can get loud and warm in the case. Set aside some money for some Antec truequiet fans, and maybe a liquid cooler such as the H60 to get the most out of this processor.

Pros
- great temps
- would buy again
Cons
- stock heatsink is loud
Summary
I usually buy Intel CPUs but this AMD product is good for the price.

Pros
Worked out of the box, overclocked easily
Cons
none
Summary
My FX 4100 overclocked out of the box to 4.2 Ghz with the stock cooler. Temp overclocked is 20C to 56.6C using Seti as a stress test for 80 minutes. At 3.6 Ghz normal speed the temps stay around 20-25C under normal load. The CPU throttles back to 1.4 Ghz most of the time.
Gygabyte GA-971A-D3, Coolermaster Silent Pro j 700w, 16 gb of Kingston Value ram running at 1333 mhz, 3 x 1000gb seagate HD's
Normal case cooling, 3 fans, so nothing really exceptional. I'm not a gamer.

Pros
Quad core, low power
Cons
none for my application
Summary
I put this processor in a ASRock N68C-GS FX as a quick and low cost upgrade to my home linux server, went from a single core Athlon 3200+ (2.2 Ghz) to this quad running at 3.6Ghz.

It has been up and running since I received it without any issues.

Pros
fast and cheap. lots of oc potential
Cons
eats too much power
Summary
This processor is awesome. Out of the box you get wicked performance, and it only gets better. However the heatsink and fan included are poorly made, so I would highly recommend getting a better heatsink if you are going to overclock this.

Pros
High performance to value ratio
Decent stock cooler
Highly overclockable
Cons
no cons from me
Summary
Bought this for a general purpose system, with light to moderate gaming. Has performed above my expectations so far, and handled everything that I could throw at it. Processor runs cool, doesn't use much power and will overclock very nicely. Very pleased with this purchase. Great bang for the buck!

Pros
- Good value for low budget gaming PC.
- Stock heat sink from Cooler Master with heat pipe. Better than usual stock heat sink.
Cons
- Might require better heat sink for overclocking.
Summary
Got this to build a low budget gaming PC. Will have to see if the stock heat sink is good enough for minor overclocking.

Pros
- Great price/performance ratio
- ideal for budget pc builds
- Runs surprisingly cool with the stock cooling
- Great overclocking potential
Cons
- A little low end on the CPU performance list
- Stock fan makes the most noise in my system
Summary
This is the best CPU for the money. I use this for a budget gaming build and get great 50-60 fps on high 1080p in BF3 using my FX-4100 and msi HD 6850 cyclone. I have not taken a stab at overclocking but it will sure boost the price/performance ratio. This CPU is sure to last years before needing to upgrade.
