For $899.98 on sale, this is a good deal. The 6770m is essentially a slightly underclocked desktop 6670. The heat dissipation is good, the radeon card runs really cool. It's the CPU that heats up. But mine has been able to fold for at least an hour on all four cores without going below 2.3GHz (started out at 2.8 lol). From what I have heard, similar specced laptops will clock down to 1.7GHz or less quite quickly due to heat.
Dunno if I just got lucky (edit I got lucky. my replacement doesn't have a thermal sensor), but one of my ram modules has a thermal sensor.
