Cons
solid stand would be nice if it had a adjustable stand but for the price thats alot to expect.
Summary
For the price of this 27 inch monitor one can hardly expect more.

I bought this for my guest gaming pc as i felt bad for having a 22 inch screen there so i thought well this looks like a decent and cheap monitor that's more than big enough.

what i didn't expect was the great colors brightness and contrast that it offers along with so far zero ghosting 4ms response time is perfectly acceptable and i expected it would be ok anyways but this monitor has blown me away for the price and quality.

i got mine for $209.99 which made it even better. and all the guests I've had over really love it in fact a few friends who were non believers of bigger screens ran out and bought this same monitor after visiting me as they were impressed with the great color quality , contrasts and visibility when using it.

I could not be happier really with my purchase so far its been a really great gaming monitor. I have a Samsung 27 inch that i use at work and to be fair this monitor has better contrast and better blacks ect which surprised me because of the price difference between the two the Samsung is 1ms as opposed to this 4ms but i truly cant see any difference in ghosting of images as this monitor has none so far.

cant go wrong with a 27 inch e 200$ . a adjustible stand like my Benq XL2420TX would have been nice but its doubtfull your going to see that at this price range as my XL2420TX was more than twice as much. and to be honest i prefer the 27 inch screen hands down it makes me wish i would have waited for the 27 inch benQ Xl screen to come out.

Pros

Good color reproduction
Good brightness
Good pixel performance (response time) for an IPS-like monitor
27 Inches
Cons
Mediocre Stand (tilt only)
Bad default settings
Absorbs ambient light
Summary
So I received the GW2750HM in the mail two weeks ago. The default brightness was at 100 and it was eye-blindingly bright. I lowered it down to 14, changed the on-monitor gamma setting to 4, lowered the 'blue' value to 95 (100,100,95 to get rid of the blue tint on the whites) and it is STILL brighter than the old CFL backlit monitor which I previously had, then ran Windows monitor calibration, then ran it through a battery of monitor tests. Result:
-
Color Vibrance: Really good. Pictures with vibrant colors look very vibrant, but without colors blowing out at all. One thing I did notice when comparing to my old monitor was that the 'Windows 7' wallpaper (the blue one with the planty looking white streaks) actually looks blue on my new monitor, and its a rich 'full' blue with only the tiniest hint of cobalt. On my old one, it takes on a strangely 'aqua' color on the brighter parts of the image, the result of my old TN monitor being physically unable to reproduce some colors even with tweaking.
-
Sharpness: Default sharpness setting of '1' is perfect. This is a good thing.
-
Responsiveness/Motion Blur: Comparable to a TN monitor (which is good). You don't notice poor pixel response or ghosting in daily usage if you use the 'High' AMA setting. I wouldnt recommend using the Premium AMA setting as that overcompensates and creates 'inverted' ghosting which is just as bad as regular ghosting.
-
Brightness Shift: Not bad. The brightness shifts as move you your head from left-to-right but it's very subtle, though has the potential to blow out highlights or overdarken dark spots if you move your head too much to the left or right, but keep in mind that this is only at the very top or very bottom of the spectrum (luminance values 1,2,3,252,253,254)
-
Color Shift: Almost nonexistent. The only color shift i've seen was on a pure red background, the left side of the picture tends to look slightly pinkish if you move your head to the right.
Backlight Bleed: Almost nonexistent. I was watching a movie in super widescreen, and the blackbars at the top and bottom of the screen looked black enough that you couldnt really tell it apart from the black bezel.
-
Light reflections: The screen is matte and tends to absorb ambient light, especially if it would otherwise be directly reflecting towards the viewer's eyes. But this creates problems when viewing dark things, because the light source still affects the surface of the screen and so can drown out some of the darkest shades. It's not as bad as a fully reflective screen in this regard, but it should be noted that the monitor manufacturer could have did a better job at reflecting ambient light away from the viewer. To get the best out of really dark spots of an image, you should be mindful of where you place your light sources, or simply boost the gamma of dark movies and games if viewing in a brightly lit room.
-
Overall: It's a fine monitor but nothing immediately mind blowing. Still worth the price I paid for it ($220 CAD) and I don't regret the purchase in the slightest. I think I would have liked to have tried a 120hz monitor instead because i'm a gamer, but this one is not bad. Satisfied, overall.

Pros

Very bright screen, text looks good. No dead pixels. Windows 7 recognized it immediately.

Exactly what I expected.
Cons
none yet.
Summary
Upgrading from a 20in LG so this is a big step up.

Wanted something that would let me work in Adobe Illustrator and Solidworks with less eye strain. The icons are getting very small.

I'm not well informed on monitor technology so I cannot really comment how well this stacks up to other monitors.

Should have got this when they were $200 but stocks ran out so paid $250.

Pros

Image quality seems good. I have done lots of document writing/editing, movie watching, video watching, gaming, and web-browsing, and it works well for me. The screen pretty good even if I have friends over and we watch a movie/video from the couch. It is an "MVA" 27" monitor. Very light/ small footprint. Low energy consumption. Has HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, and 1/8th inch audio jack inputs. Has tiny speakers which work in a pinch. Image quality seems good. I have done lots of document writing/editing, movie watching, video watching, gaming, and web-browsing, and it works well for me. The screen pretty good even if I have friends over and we watch a movie/video from the couch. It has an auto detect setting for the video cable, which is useful.
Cons
The OSD menu is laggy, as other people have commented on, but this is not a big deal unless you need to constantly change the OSD settings. You can't access the OSD unless the monitor is receiving an incoming video signal, which is extremely stupid. If the monitor isn't set to "auto detect" and you don't have the type of cable that it's set to receive, then you're screwed I think.
Summary
It does everything I expect it to very well, and I use my computer heavily for document editing, high and low res video watching, gaming, and web browsing.

I do not have any problems with eye strain.

I have never had a problem with any of the "cons" that I mention, I'm just aware that these could be problems for some people.

At the price that NCIX keeps offering this monitor, it seems like one of the best values on the market. A perfect multi-use monitor for anybody who doesn't want to spend double, triple, or more for something only slightly better.

Pros

-Very bright
-1080P is great on a 27 inch monitor so that no GPU upgrade is needed.
-Price
Cons
-Supports only tilting of the monitor... but not that big of a deal.
-Speakers... really?
Summary
All in all, great monitor for the 200$ price tag. Upgraded from a 22inch Samsung and I don't regret it at all.

No problems at all to install, plugged DVI cable (not included) and it worked right away.

Gaming/movies look great (no ghosting noticed)

Comment: After testing the GW2750HM it was easy to draw similar conclusions to the 24" model. Both screens are very much alike at the end of the day offering the same set of connections, features and the same design. Like the 24" model, the main positive about the GW2750HM is its price point.

Comment: Props to BenQ then for putting this panel together properly. The result is even backlighting and no edge bleed. If you're paying a little more for a premium panel, you might expect more immediate visual impact than the BenQ is able to deliver.
