Pros
Price
Decent graphic
Cons
Run hot, needed better thermal paste
Summary
I built a cheap gaming pc for a friend. He play D3, sc2, dota, etc. without any issue !
I had to remplace the thermal paste with mx-2 because this cpu was running hot like hell !
I built a complet system for under 200$ with that cpu and MSI FM2-A75MA-E35, can't complain about anything !

Pros
Quiet
Fast
Decent IGU
Cons
N/A
Summary
This processor is not bad for everyday use. Upgraded from a socket LGA775. Overall, it's a much better improvement from the noise to speed. Comes with the stock fan, which at first is a bit challenging to put since I usually get Intel CPUS. However, this is a great APU for everyday or light gaming.

Pros
Cheap
Works Well
Cons
Heatsink could be better
Summary
Overall a very good CPU for budget builds just wish the supplied heat sink was a bit better as the temps under load are a bit high to my taste

Pros
Price! HTPC Perfection.
Cons
None...
Summary
Likewise as said before...under 50 bucks WOW. Slapped into a 50 dollar FM2 board for an HTPC Netflix rig and bingo!
Stock heatsink set to Cool & Quiet in BIOS and this is running quiet and cool like it states. No problems running this rig all day/night watching TV, Facebook etc.

Windows 8 installed and we're all happy! Again if your looking for a decent CPU to do hardcore everyday things, Netflix etc...this will do above and beyond that. You can even slap a decent video card into your rig and get away with ok gaming!

Pros
Inexpensive. Good value for basic home computing or HTPC use.
Cons
Cannot get into the BIOS with an HDMI TV.
Summary
This is a steal at under $50. I purchased it to upgrade an aging HTPC with weak video. Very happy at the price. Not sure if the BIOS video glitch is due to the board or the FM2 graphics. Graphics performance is very good. CPU speed is good but not great. It's a very good CPU for HTPC but power users will want a quad core CPU.

Pros
Cheap APU, Only 65W so its not too power hungry, Runs Cool
Cons
As a processor a dual core Sandy Celeron is faster
Summary
Bought this to complement my ASRock FM2A75M-DGS Board for a budget build. Its not a powerful processor but for the price you can't expect much! It's slower then an Intel Sandy Dual Core Celeron but has a decent intergrated graphics beating out the Intel processor in that area. And temps are low even on the tiny heatsink that is included with the processor. For the average user I found that it is more then enough. Web browsing is smooth, office runs clean and Windows fairly quick. Even holds up in light gaming as well.

I recommend this processor for the average user or for media server.

Pros
Low power consumption, fast enough for my media pc requirements, cheap price (on sale)
Cons
small and noisy oem fan
Summary
I needed a low powered processor for a bedroom media-pc and was debating whether to get a previous generation triple core A6 versus this new dual A4-5300. Granted, the A6 has a much better graphics (6530D) vs the A4's 7480D as well as having the benefit of a bigger cache but the A4's higher clock speed (3.4-3.6GHz) would probably fare better in single threaded applications compared to the A6's 2.1-2.4GHz. In the end, I decided to get the A4-5300 since it designed for the newer FM2 motherboard as opposed to the end-of-life FM1 A6-3500. Besides, I figured that if the processor was not enough, I could always upgrade to a low powered FM2 quad.
The only concern I had was the included cooler assembly which had a really lightweight aluminum heatsink and a small fan. (I could always purchase an aftermarket cooler, but I wanted to keep costs down). Testing the fan at full speed resulted in a very noticeable high pitched whine. Fortunately, I had a leftover OEM cooler assembly from a 95W FX-processor. This cooler had more heft and a slightly bigger fan. This cooler proved to be more than sufficient as well as quiet enough not to be heard inside the Core 1000 case. Right now, temps never exceed 45C
Performance-wise, everything seems to work well. HD media plays smoothly without drops or stuttering.
