High efficiency ¨C Low heat

Efficiency is the measurement of how well a power supply converts the AC power from your outlet to the DC power used by your PC¡¯s components. If your power supply isn¡¯t efficient, it will generate more heat, which requires more cooling and more fan noise. And, it might even affect your power bill.
HX Series PSUs are among the most efficient on the market. They help keep your PC cool and quiet, and your power bill
 down.

Pros
Modular. Easy to install.
Cons
None.
Summary
I have mine mounted in a Corsair C70, upside down.

Worked fine for the first three months, then suddenly died. I did an RMA with Corsair, and the replacement arrived in under a week (California to Alberta). Replacement unit works great. I won't hold a single failure against it, as it might have been a random event and not a systemic defect. Only thing that sucked was having to pay to ship the defective unit to Corsair in the US ($50…), and it isn't a light-weight PSU.

Per the other reviews: I haven't noticed any fan noise in my desktop, but the other case fans are louder than the PSU fan.

Pros
No problems so far, works as expected. Nice packaging.
Cons
Can audibly tell when fan kicks in - quite loud
Summary
I got this on sale for $130. Very happy with this unit. Only thing is some might find the fan a bit loud when it kicks in.

Experience: 7 Months
Pros
- Relatively quiet
- Modular and high quality cables.
Cons
- Does not align with the Corsair Carbide 400r case.
Summary
The cables are really high quality and flexible. It isn't that loud and there's a 7 year warranty so it's going to last a while.

The only problem I had with this product is that the holes don't fit properly with the Corsair Carbide 400r case. I can only manage to screw in 2 of the screws as they do not align properly.

Pros
Looks good, works well.
Cons
Fan can get loud when under load
Summary
Works great for a 750W Gold PSU.
Very well package, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the contents. Partially modular, the 24Pin and the 8Pin are connected to the body of the PSU. The fan is off until under load so you'll never hear it unless you're overclocking and/or using two graphics cards.

Pros
Nice looking
Modular
Gold at good price
Cons
Plagued by coil whine
Summary
It has no problem, gives the right amount of Volt but gives me a headache when the fans comes up. Corsair cant realy make good fan and keep having prob with them. Good psu overal except for the fan.

Pros
modular

Cons
the revision of this PSU I received has the modular ports very low to the base of my computer case such that I could not mount a fan (only a very slim profile fan) at the bottom of my corsair 550D case.
Coil Whine, when the computer is OFF!!! It is very noticeable and changes pitch depending on whether the internet cable is connected to my motherboard or not.
Fluttering sound to the PSU fan.
Summary
Very dissatisfied with this PSU. Because of NCIX's return policy it made more sense for me to RMA it through Corsair. I did, but they send me a worse HX750 (the newer revision actually has better placed modular ports, allowing a fan to be mounted alongside it in the corsair 550d case) with a grinding fan (gets worse with slight adjustments to the power cable) that is ALWAYS on (the HX750 fan is supposed to turn on only when the temperatures are hot) and double boot (causes my system to boot for 2 seconds, shut down and wait for 3 seconds, then boot up aagin). So I also have to RMA the RMA. Corsair customer service is top notch, so no complaints there and they even waived the shipping for me. however, I would recommend going for the AX series over this, too many lemons with the HX750.

Pros
80 plus gold and modular.
Cons
This is not a fully modular PSU as advertised. Longer than a standard ATX PSU
Summary
Solid PSU, very wel built. Two things to watch out for:
1. NOT fully modular, it is semi modular. I purchased this PSU thinking it as fully modular.
2. Watch out for the length, it is longer than a standard ATX PSU i had to mod my case so it would fit.

All in all I am happy with this PSU it runs very quiet and is well built. The only reasons I had Problems with this PSU is that i am building a HTPC and have very limited room to work with. In a full size case would have no problems at all.
