Pros

Fast
Cons
Dead.
Summary
Bought this in 2014, looking for a nice strong PC set up that would crush games for the next couple years. Got a system that would crash randomly every 5 hours or so brand new. Turned into every hour, then every half hour. Yeah, swapped out the card for an old eVGA product, shes back to rock stable and my RMA with ASUS is ongoing. If you look at this same product over at newegg you can see many people had problems with this card.

Summary
I bought this to replace an HD 5770 that kicked the bucket, no regrets with my purchase

Pros

Not bad FPS
Cons
Noisy, Hot, Huge card
Summary
I bought this game for Wildstar, BF4, COH2 and DOW2

It can run games at high/ultra settings, but the fan is going hard and I get artifacts/tearing first week I've had it.

I ran the latest drivers and beta drivers. Doesn't matter. For a $400 card (incl tax) I should not be getting tearing and artifacts and listening to the fan going full blast.

Experience: 2 Months

Pros

Very Cool and quiet for clock speed
Good looks
Excellent Performance / dollar ratio
Cons
Pricing has gone way up
Summary
Picked this baby up for 329.99$ with free shipping, which was an absolute STEAL of a price. I'm sad to see the prices have shot way up, as it was an excellent performance / dollar ratio card back then, (but it still is)

I had a bit of a heat issue with it getting to about 85 C under load, but I realized I had some messy fan config in my case and switched it around so as not to starve it of air, and now it hovers around 70 C, so make sure you're giving it a good clean direct line of airflow and you should be fine.

I've managed to get mine clocked at 1.1 GHz with no stability issues e stock clocks at first, but I was beginning to see a couple tiny image artifacts in some games after a week or so, so I bumped up the Voltage a bit and now its rock solid.

In conclusion, it's a great card for the price even at the higher prices these days, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a card they can just crank the settings on max at 1080P for and not worry at all.

Excellent card

Experience: 1 Days

Pros

Can Crossfire with 7970
Fast
Quiet
Runs cool
Cons
Arrived faulty and couldn't manage stock clocks without artifacting like crazy. Artifacted at desktop, YouTube videos, and gaming.

It's a giant sized card.
Summary
I purchased this card with the intention of running Crossfire with my current 7970. I'm pleased to say that it works, however the card was faulty when I received it.

The memory was set to 1600MHz, however I couldn't get it any higher than 1375MHz without artifacting.

I've since done an RMA through ASUS for repairs. Still waiting on a replacement.

The card itself is a beast and runs any game I've played at maximum settings.

Pros

Fairly quite, very well built, superb performance, great looks
Cons
Large size, be sure it will fit before you buy!
Summary
I'm one of the lucky ones I guess, I got this card for 329.99 plus free shipping when it first came out, and dollar for dollar you can't do better at that price. It was a little more expensive than some other R9 280X's at the time, but it is factory overclocked to 1070MHZ and the build quality is excellent. I would recommend to anybody to pay the extra 20 bucks or so to get this card over the cheaper ones, especially the XFX, which is crap. This thing runs BF4 on Ultra no problems, Skyrim it doesn't break a sweat with EVERYTHING Maxed out, Far Cry 3 same deal. I've yet to find a game where I had to turn any settings down actually.
If you're gaming in 1920x1080, this card is perfect. Just turn everything to max and go. And I doubt 1920x1200 would slow this card down much either.

Pros

solid card, very low temp, good performance.
Cons
medium overclocking abilities, unstable under oc pressure.
Summary
I bought this card for bf4 and it totally kicks ass and doesn't blink at all, i also got the gigabyte r9 280x card for my brother which is on sale now, it turned out they are totally different cards, i mean if you compare the two Asus would totally win in every aspect. i totally recommend the Asus over any brand. because it is more modified ,and it's build quality is much much much better than its competitors.
get one card for now and if there are any games in future that require more juice, just crossfire another card. by that time these cards should be cheaper and faster.

THIS IS HANDS UP THE BEST VALUE CARD ON THE MARKET NOW, 7990 $700 not worh it, GTX 770 sc $340 not worth it, 7970 $280 not worth it. because these cards don't have the technology nor the value this card packs, i highly recommend this card and this card only, not MSI nor gigabyte nor anything else.
really really happy with my purchase. i overclocked it to 1216 MHz and it ran stable, only when i oc the memory at that speed i get game crashes. temp wise, this card runs so cool even under the heaviest duty i get 55c lol.
