Floppy Drive

Though not as popular as they once were, but still used as a portable data storage and exchange medium by many, floppy drives still have a place in computing today and NCIX is your retailer where you can purchase a replacement floppy drive or where you can buy an auxiliary external unit as newer computers rarely include floppy drives as standard components today. The most popular floppy drives initially used widely were the 8 inch and 5.25 inch drives which are now mostly obsolete can only be operated by older computers, however, the last version of the diskette which used the 3.5 inch floppy drive is for the most part, still compatible with computers today.

The lifespan of the floppy diskette and floppy drive is slowly coming to an end and though it still has some uses, it has been replaced by devices that are more portable, reliable and has more storage capacity such as USB flash drives , memory cards and external hard disk drives . The floppy drives available for purchase at NCIX are manufactured by Sabrent, an American manufacturer of technology products such as computer accessories and electronics, HP SMB, the small and medium business division of Hewlett-Packard, an American multinational technology corporation and by up and coming technology company, Syba. So if you are looking to buy HP SMB Systems floppy drives or Syba floppy drives you have come to right place.
