I've had this Cpu coupled with a Chaintech vnf4 ultra for a year and a half. When i added a gig of ram and a Soltek 6600gt OC i could run all new games, my favorite being Bf2.      » READ MORE

A good little processor that was easy to install and beats the Pentium I have at work. Would buy again.      » READ MORE

When I built my first computer I wanted AMD, and I had a relatively cheap buget (<$1200) This cpu fit in perfectly with what I wanted, AMD makes it simple, this was my first and won't be my last.      » READ MORE

Very happy with it, overclocked as high as 2600mhz, would go with the AM2 version if your motherboard supports it. If you don't plan on overclocking and are buying for gaming, would look at something a bit more powerful.      » READ MORE

This CPU is a very very good deal for the price. I can play the lastest game(Titan Quest, Oblivion, etc), do a lot of programming task quickly and I can easily overclock it to 2,2 GHZ with a nforce 4 chipset. Very good deal!       » READ MORE

Overclocked to 2.4ghz with 1.45 volts, temp. rarely goes over 30 C while under load (Arctic Freezer 64 Pro), going to try for higher OC when my PCI-E motherboard arrives.      » READ MORE

I've heard these 3000+ to be one of the best CPU's for overclocking... I havn't tried yet. I bought this for a little budget PC that doesn't need overclocking anyways... I'm very satisfied with this one, as all other AMD products      » READ MORE

AMD says it all. I had a Celeron once, the key word being 'once'. Once I used an AMD I never looked back. I read up a lot of reviews before buying this CPU and they all said the same thing. An AMD 3500+ is basically the same as a 3000+ but at a higher voltage.       » READ MORE

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The Athlon series has been around a while now and I've never heard much bad said about them. The socket-A models always worked great, it is a shame they're going through so many new socket iterations all at once - 754, 939, 940, and now this AM2 thing. I think the 939's got life left in it but it looks like 754's are going to be the red-headed stepchild in short order.       » READ MORE
