Pros

Reason #1 Cheap board. Reason #2 One of the few boards around still, that will take a Socket "A" chip AND has an AGP slot! Decent video, 2G of RAM make this farily decent!
Cons
My USB ports on it blew or "stopped working" for some reason about a year ago. I am rocking a PCI USB expansion board on it as I had one lying around.
Summary
It has been running my Athlon XP3000 chip (that is 5 years old), has a 1 gig stick of bargain Samsung RAM and an ATI 9800 Pro all-in-wonder AGP card. It is still running after a year of some fairly hard use. Games play really well still, I run most games today and they run pretty well for such a cheap system. I would buy another one if this one died, $56.00 is nothing to pay for this board!

Pros

+ Stable
+ Good overclocking
+ Very cheap
+ mATX factor
+ Compatibility options in BIOS for troublesome memory
Cons
- KM266Pro isn't a very performing chipset
- Sockt A is getting old, you can't get pocessors for it nowaday
- Only 333 mhz maximum FSB
Summary
Fo what it does this mainboard is very good. All the drivers for it are already in Windows XP, it has a compatible AGP port, doesn't ned active coolng, is very cheap and very stable. Fitting on in a mATX case for a HTPC was a good experience and I was impressed how much I was able to overclock my Barton mobile processor with it. The the 14.5x was unlocked and acted like one unlike with my A7N8X which would top at 12x so even though the FSB can only be 333mhz, it does a great job.

Pros

Easy instalation, no messy drivers.
Cons
none
Summary
Socket A board is rarity buy these days. So we dont have many choices. At the least, this one is a good quality replacement for your old box. Instalation went smoothly with no need of windows re-instalation.

Pros

Windows XP Recognized Everything on Bootup!
Cons
None from a utilitarian point of view.
Summary
And old ECS board went up in smoke and this fit the bill perfectly.

I have bought a few of these now and other ASRock boards and I have yet to be disappointed.

I was expecting Windows XP's HAL to freak out - but it booted just fine and installed everything in a few minutes. I think the XP HAL is not as finicky / rigid as Win2K's was.

Best Socket A option out there - breathing new life into old CPU's :D

Pros

good board, decent features
Cons
none
Summary
Good entry level board with lots of features. I've built about 40 machines with this one, only one failure. Pretty good IMO.

Pros

Seems to be very reliable for a cheap motherboard. Easy to install and load drivers
Cons
after flashing the bios to the latest version(1.5) windows will only see 140gb of my 250gb seagate harddrive
Summary
Decent cheap board if you are not doing to much and you are on a budget or get parts for free.
I would not say it's the fastest board and the SIS onboard video is average at best.

Pros

-Good value board.
-Enough integrated features
-Good stepless change
Cons
-MicroATX form factor.
-Due to size, only 2 PCI slots.
- No RS232 slot, (though on-board connector if have RS232 port handy)
- No advanced voltage regulation (though have some overvolting capability, no undervolting for hot running procs)
Summary
A goood board for a passing generation for a cheap price. Stable, and works great if you don't push it to the limits.

Due to the value market positioning of this board, there is no advanced power control, so undervolting (for hot processors) is not supported.

The MicroATX form factor is a bit limiting, only two PCI and AGP slots (but with onboard sound, video, network, no need for other devices) and no RS232 ports, (but there is a connector onboard if you do have an RS232 socket available).

Overall, would still recommend this product.

Pros

price, stability
Cons
Don't expect much from the on-board graphics
Summary
Got this a while back to replace an ECS motherboard that took one power surge too many. Despite the price the board is stable and comes with pretty much everything integrated. The AGP slot is only 4X instead of 8X.

Very good board for the price!!!!
Cons
None yet to think of
Summary
Very good board, if you need a replacement for the kids computer or whatever. No problems with my sisters here. Would buy again if needed.

Pros

-Cheap.
-It's got it all - LAN, Video, Sound...etc.
-Good quality.
Cons
-None
Summary
It's a great little board that works very well. Wanted to build a computer for my youngest son, had an old XP 1800+ CPU, burner...ect ect. Bought this board with a stick of 512Mb Samsung RAM and a cheap case...et voila!! Not a bad computer for $200. I was quite impressed how easily Win XP found and installed all the correct drivers. No friggin around and no headaches. Totally worth the $54.

This board is obviously not for anyone who wants to overclock the crap out anything ;-))
