Freezer 64 Pro
Application:
all AMD Athlon 64
AMD Athlon X2 up to 5000+
all AMD Athlon 64 FX

Extremely Quiet
The low speed 92 mm fan reduces the noise level to a minimum.
The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 92 mm fans.
Patent No 203 07 981 U1 (Germany)
Patent No 10/834 232 (USA)

Powerful cooling
6 Heat Pipes (three used double sided) are able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt. The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air.

Integrated Cooling of Voltage Converters
Air is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU.
Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom.

Patented Vibration Absorption
The four rubber connectors on the fan case act as a vibration damper to absorb the vibration of the running fan. This can reduce significant vibration between plastic fan case and heatsink.

Easy Installation
The cooler is to install without any tools within seconds.

Long Lifetime / 6 Years Warranty
The ARCTIC Ceramic Bearing provides an unmatched Life Time of 137'000h (L10@40°C) resp. an MTBF@70°C of 163'000h and thus a 6 year warranty.

Comment: There are many, many zillions of coolers for the AMD socket 939 and AM2 platforms. However, many of them require annoying disassembly of your system to attach, or sound like a small hurricane in your computer case. That's why the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro comes as such a surprise. Read on to fin

Comment: "I have to say Arctic Cooling has a winner on their hands with the Freezer 64 Pro. The cooler runs very quiet, and its design, if in the right environment, will even let it run without the fan."

Comment: "the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro is a cooler that truly deserves its name. After all, how can a product have the words "Arctic" and "Freezer" in its name without living up to them? "

I use this for my 3800x2 setup. I keep the cpu around 18-25 degres so it is very good. The hs fan is very silent for the cfm amount it is providing. It is very easy to install. I was able to o/c my 3800x2 to a 4200x2 that is a nice free improvement. I would definately recommend for future setups. (Read More)

At the beginning 3600 brisbane temp went down 4 degree but later went down further 12 degrees. Maybe the thermal paste gets solidified or sth happens. Amazed. 15 degree less than stock cooler brisbane 3600 overclocked to 2.5 ghz (Read More)

Used this cooler when I upgraded from an Athlon 3700+ to an X2 4800+ CPU on a 939Dual-Sata2 board. For me, it was pretty difficult to install with the very small space between the heatsink retainer and the side of the case. Once I did it installed, my idle temperature was around 50C and at load jumped to over 60C. Too high! Even my 7900GS card was overheating. Looking twice, I discovered the case (Antec Sonata II) fan wasn't turning. Set the case fan to medium and the CPU now idles at in the low 30's and the highest I've seen it get is 50C while running Prime95. Quite happy with this cooler.

I have used this fan for over a year. No problems with it at all, it works, but. The cooling power is not to much better than a stock fan. For people who do more crazzy overclocking I would recomend trying something else.

The fan certainly does its job. It's keeping my AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core Processor at 49 celsius. I was a little worried it would not fit with the case window fan but it fits no problem in the Logisys CS-51WBK 51W Black 450W ATX Tower Case. It had been a while since my last CPU purchase and I'd forgotten they come with a stock fan. However, I do not regret this purchase. (Read More)

I am sorry, this product sucks.. looks like alot of satisfied customers.. I am the odd man out.

Its big, clumsy, the fan fell off the radiator, the fan stopped turning and lucky I was watching. In "SpeedFan" I could see the fan speeds stop or fade. (Read More)

I bought this to cool a X2 3800+ overclocked to 2.4 GHz and it kept the temps under 45C, which is great compared to the AMD stock heatsink. It's a excellent choice for a modest overclocker due to the low price and quietness. (Read More)
