Not really happy aobut this drive. It does not seem faster than my old drive, and it makes noises. Noises i have never hard a hard drive make... ever. I'm just hoping it does not fail on me.

I like these drives, they are zippy, fairly large, have good warranty from a trusted manufacturer. I have mine in a raid 0 config and they work awsome.

Seagate makes great harddrives. Period. This is more of the same, and won't break the bank. This is perfect for casual users who need some space, but not a lot. The SATAII interface is great, but ensure that your motherboard supports it.

I bought 3 of these drives, all of them are working flawlessly. The first one I bought is still running strong after 2 years of almost 24/h a day of work. These are great hard drives.

I purchased this drive because it was a pretty good deal, but I am wishing I had paid a couple extra bucks for a Western Digital. I have this drive and a WD SE16 320GB in a RAID1 array. Unfortunately, compared to the WD drive this one is very loud. Of the 3 drive in my system, this is the only one I have to listen to.

Have always had good luck with Seagate, this drive is no different. It's quiet and fast, and is a good price. The only downside really is it's quite a bit warmer than my other drives but nothing major. This drive shipped with the AAK firmware, which there have been some problems reported if you look around.

I current have two of these as external hard drives. They're highly efficient, very quiet and don't overheat. I've had them for a year and a half and not once has either failed even when the power cord is unplugged while in use (although I wouldn't recommend trying it).

Good harddrive for the price. 320gb well enough for me (mild gamer and a bit of photo editting). In my new pc and Antec 300 case. Runs fine and not noisy at all.
