bought this card to upgrade a system and run more of the newer games and so far it is handling everything I am putting on it. It is very quiet and has some great software to run all the extras that the card has.
I paid 140$ for this thing, and if my mobo supported SLI, I would buy another for that. Really cheap, and an awesome card. If you want a cheap card for a comuter that isnt for huge gaming, I would get this one.
Well I'm a casual gamer that is I only play games about once a week or so. So far I've only tried playing counterstrike source with this card and everything works great on high settings, no problems whatsoever, however I havn't tried any recent games with this card. I would definatly recommend this card for anyone who is on a budget.
i'm a pretty avid gamer and this card has done me well for a little bit more than a year. not a rich man but if i could then yeah plenty of room for upgrading. now that doesn't mean the card is weak its plenty powerful enough to even handle fear at a decently high setting. pleased with this card but not in love. and the price, like i said im not rich. talk to me again when i go sli.
Well, considering it's only $137.99 when its on sale, you can't expect a lot, but it still brings you great results! Upgraded from the old Radeons, and I can finally play Half Life 2 and Battlefield at acceptable resolutions. Personally, I'm not a heavy gamer, so this fits my budget exactly. Of course, for those that game 24/7, it's not the card for you, probably get some SLI or crossfire :P
Very good card VS price when on sale. Plays Oblivion on high with a lowest frame rate of 20(+3000 64 Venice). My card did not come with a graphic on the heat sink which was dissapointing. Also to note, one of the screws for the heat sink was off rolling around in the box, I guess they forgot to screw it on.
