BenQ has pumped out a fantastic product at a decent price point, and it’s to be commended for the effort. Now allow hardware one-to-one scaling, make the base heavier and move your buttons to the front, and you have yourself a perfect product and a hot award coming your way.
The BenQ FP241W is a great all-round monitor. It will easily work well with gaming but has the versatility to adapt to any video signal you can pump into it. The only complaints we have is the exclusion of a speaker system and the price tag which, while consistent with its competitors, is still quit
What's not to like? Using this over the course of a couple of weeks, it has become an indispensable part of my desktop. If you're looking for a 24" monitor to buy, this is the one to go for.

I bought this monitor for my new gaming system, and, simply put, it's bloody amazing. The image quality is ridiculously better than that of my older displays. To anyone who buys this, make sure to set the picture mode to dynamics, you won't be disappointed.

I've been using this monitor primarily for computer games, but I like how it has HDMI input for when I get an XBox 360 or PS3 next week. 1920x1200 puts the average HDTV resolution to shame. Only problem is that I need a better graphics card and processor to play games in 1920x1200. Great monitor though.

BenQ and NCIX stand behind what they sell. I give them credit for that. This monitor is an example of a great idea gone wrong. It has all those extra inputs, but they cannot do proper 4:3 aspect ratio. It is already EOL for this monitor and there is no fix in sight. Buy this strictly as a computer monitor and you are alright.

This panel is beautiful. Having seen it vs. the Dell 2408WFP up close, this monitor beats it hands down. The finish on the panel is unique from what I've seen as well, kind of a cross between a glossy and matte. It's more matte than glossy, but still shinier than what you've normally seen. I'm of a mind that it helps the colours to pop - on that note, I didn't have to touch the settings out of the box, it was already great.
this is a beautiful monitor. the stand is solid, the bezel is thin and clean, the colors are great out of the box, the preset picture modes work well, and best of all i got no dead pixels.
Picked this baby up to replace my old 19" CRT. Boy, I am pleased with it. Only have one stuck defective red pixel but its not that noticible. The stand is sturdy, there are tons of inputs, including HDMI, and the picture quality is great. Too bad they discontinued this line or else I'd pick up another.

In all the reviews I read about this monitor, the one complaint everyone seemed to have was with the buttons being on the side. Personally, I think this is a great place to put them because it means you don't need to put any text on the front of the frame which leaves it looking very simple and elegant. Plus, after using the monitor long enough, you begin to remember where each button is without having to crane your neck around to the side.
This monitor was the first to offer all kinds of inputs on a quality panel for a bargain price. The recent addition of TN panels have made this monitor less interesting because the 24 inches TN are an improvement over the 22 inches, closer in quality to the MVA panels.

This is a great monitor. Too bad there are only open boxes left. Anyways, I only had 1 dead, 1 stuck pixel, and to be honest, it is hard for me to notice them in games/movies. The picture quality and viewing angles are great. I love how easy it is to turn the monitor without moving the base.
