Unlike conventional LCD monitors, the FP241W features complete HD support, so you can enjoy the most dazzlingly video possible. Experience lifelike video with all your new generation electronics, such as the latest game consoles and HD DVD players.
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) The BenQ FP241W is the world's first LCD monitor with HDMI. HDMI not only enables 5Gbps data transfers, but eliminates the need for signal conversions, ensuring the best quality video. In addition, unlike other high-performance displays, the FP241W uses only a single HDMI cable, which carries the best quality video signals. The result is less clutter and hassle-free installation.
A Great View
1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution With 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution, the FP241W can display more content while maintaining crisp details and legible text.
Full display of two A4-size windows Additionally, the FP241W can also display two complete A4-size windows side by side, making it easy to view two applications comfortably at the same time.
PIP (Picture in Picture) function
With the PIP feature, you can view video from two sources at once—for example, from a DVD player and from your PC.
Unequaled Picture Quality With AMA technology built into the FP241W, it reduces grey-to-grey response times to a mere 6ms, ensuring ultra-smooth video without ghosting. Even with highly dynamic content such as movies and games, video is crisp and clean.. Additionally, exclusive Senseye™ technology and a 1000:1 contrast ratio ensure that the FP241W delivers vibrant colors and exquisitely rendered details.
You can freely adjust the height and orientation of the screen for the ideal viewing angle and maximum comfort.
The FP241W is equipped with three USB ports. Two USB ports located on the right side of the bezel and another on the upper part of the bezel. It is very convenient to connect other peripherals, such as webcams, USB keyboards, digital cameras and digital audio players, right on your monitor!

BenQ has pumped out a fantastic product at a decent price point, and it’s to be commended for the effort. Now allow hardware one-to-one scaling, make the base heavier and move your buttons to the front, and you have yourself a perfect product and a hot award coming your way.
The BenQ FP241W is a great all-round monitor. It will easily work well with gaming but has the versatility to adapt to any video signal you can pump into it. The only complaints we have is the exclusion of a speaker system and the price tag which, while consistent with its competitors, is still quit

I bought this monitor for my new gaming system, and, simply put, it's bloody amazing. The image quality is ridiculously better than that of my older displays. To anyone who buys this, make sure to set the picture mode to dynamics, you won't be disappointed.
I've been using this monitor primarily for computer games, but I like how it has HDMI input for when I get an XBox 360 or PS3 next week. 1920x1200 puts the average HDTV resolution to shame. Only problem is that I need a better graphics card and processor to play games in 1920x1200. Great monitor though.
BenQ and NCIX stand behind what they sell. I give them credit for that. This monitor is an example of a great idea gone wrong. It has all those extra inputs, but they cannot do proper 4:3 aspect ratio. It is already EOL for this monitor and there is no fix in sight. Buy this strictly as a computer monitor and you are alright.
This panel is beautiful. Having seen it vs. the Dell 2408WFP up close, this monitor beats it hands down. The finish on the panel is unique from what I've seen as well, kind of a cross between a glossy and matte. It's more matte than glossy, but still shinier than what you've normally seen. I'm of a mind that it helps the colours to pop - on that note, I didn't have to touch the settings out of the box, it was already great.
Picked this baby up to replace my old 19" CRT. Boy, I am pleased with it. Only have one stuck defective red pixel but its not that noticible. The stand is sturdy, there are tons of inputs, including HDMI, and the picture quality is great. Too bad they discontinued this line or else I'd pick up another.
In all the reviews I read about this monitor, the one complaint everyone seemed to have was with the buttons being on the side. Personally, I think this is a great place to put them because it means you don't need to put any text on the front of the frame which leaves it looking very simple and elegant. Plus, after using the monitor long enough, you begin to remember where each button is without having to crane your neck around to the side.
This monitor was the first to offer all kinds of inputs on a quality panel for a bargain price. The recent addition of TN panels have made this monitor less interesting because the 24 inches TN are an improvement over the 22 inches, closer in quality to the MVA panels.
This is a great monitor. Too bad there are only open boxes left. Anyways, I only had 1 dead, 1 stuck pixel, and to be honest, it is hard for me to notice them in games/movies. The picture quality and viewing angles are great. I love how easy it is to turn the monitor without moving the base.
