Fast, cheap
Hot, Loud, no ultra textures in company of heroes
This is an good card, the graphics mem does not allow ultra texture settings in company of heroes (which looks awesome). 1 fps slower than the 512 otherwise the same. This is a very hot and loud card though so i reccomend getting an accelero to add on to it (and outtake fan). It goes up to 100c occasionally, and give artifacts and crashes if you do not turn up the fan in atitool. I would reccomend the GTO as an alternative, otherwise this beats everything else in the pricerange

Very good perf. for the price
This card is amazing it's almost the same as the 512mb. I change this from my 7800gtx 256mb and this is insane. I passed from 9200points in 3d mark 05 (all OC) to 10200 (stock) . This card worth it !

If you already have the latest radeon drivers , install is a breeze, just select modify from the uninstall menu, reboot and everything runs great

Need I say more :-D

Now for some real world tests.

I fired up prey, set it to max wherever i could find it, changed the screen real estate to 1440x900 (recommended for my monitor) got myself into a battle with plenty of enemies...and this ran as smooth as a babies looked stunning
Looking forward to firing up a few more games :-)

Its cheap for the massive performance
Noise and only 256MB of ram, DX10 around the corner.
As a lot of reviews said, the noise is a problem. But its not that bad. It can whine though if your playing for awhile.

The performance is REALLY great, I play FEAR and Company of Heroes and I can basically turn everything on, and atleast run at 1280x1024. Its really great. I had a 6800U and its a BIG difference.

Yes, the big thing I'm worried about is how much hurt the card will be under with DX10 games.. Not much info is out yet...

I am kicking butt with this card and I've noticed that ATI's cards usually handle heavier games better - like FEAR. So, I have little to worry about.

Experience: 3 Days
price,great framerate
This card is insane for the price...real clock is 621/720 and all games runs on max settings and faster than gf 7950gt 512mb(339$)

Buy it now!!
