I bought this router about 1 months ago, It got to me nice and boxed i loved it, hooked it up and it was amazing, i was out in my shed and still had reception. With the adapter i bought for my laptop its brilliant. Im downloading and surfing the internet at top speeds and to be honest, only had 1 problem so far. Seemed like the password changed itself or something, couldnt get out of aquiring network address for 3 days, went in and reset it to factory defaults and i was back to blazing speeds.

For an average home router, it's great. Provides a good signal and wireless N technology if you have the required NIC adapters. However, the configuration site, or control panel, is somewhat difficult to navigate through and I've had issues configuring port forwarding and DHCP reservations.

i owned this thing for 4 months and it was great for the first month, but when i started to get a ps3 and xbox 360, i found out that this router failed in giving static ips and port forwarding.. really a piece of crap.. the features arent that impressive anyways and the reception is a freakin miracle if i have a 100%.. even when only inches apart.. damn shouldve sticked to linksys.. not recommended..

Having owned this router for only a couple days, I can tell it's pretty good. The range on it is insane, and seeing as my computers are Wireless-N compatible, it works really nicely.

I set up using the included wizard - which leads you to the included networking software (I forgot its name). Could not get my brand new notebook (vista 64)to connect to network (could detect it though), but wired connection to desktop worked. Uninstalled networking software (don't really need to be networked to the old desktop), re-installed using Vista help features. Works with no problems both wired and wireless.

I am pretty sure the entire block that surrounds my house new when I turned on this router. I picked up my Laptop and drove about a 1/2 Kilometer before I started loosing signal strength. I have yet to try out the 802.11n part of this router but I can only hope it functions as well as the G.

There are 2 revisions. Many of us got the newer Rev C. The firmware version 3.01 was incompatible with Shaw Cable etc. The small percentage got Rev. A, which works at first try. I personally bought the newer revision had to return it for an older revision.
