Got this a while ago for 70$ because of a huge sale. It only ran out of toner today. This is definitely a great printer. It just takes a while to warm up.

La qualité d'impression est très bonne peu importe le mode d'impression choisi. Les pages sortent vite. Durant l'impression elle est un peu trop bruyante à mon goût mais c'est tolérable surtout si l'on considère le prix payé. Recommande surtout pour ceux qui ont une petite entreprise. Personnement je souhaite maintenant mettre la main sur un modèle similaire mais avec couleur.

After my Samsung 1610 died from trying to take too many sheets at once when I was manually doing double sided printing, I had to spring for a cheap laser printer to finish out the semester.

first laser printer. i just switched from the inkjet b/c it was giving me such a hard time. All in all, its pretty nice so far. The only complaint that i may have is the amount of juice it sucks up when it warms up. The lights my room would flicker a lot and it would be rather loud during the warm up and printing session but besides that, i find that it prints rather nicely. I've used the envelop function, legal size paper and the regular 81/2 by 11 and all prints really well. The paper might curl a bit coming out but its not a very big deal for myself. It would be even better if it was colour but i think that's just asking too much for an $80 laser printer =). Now i just have to see how long before i have to replace the toner.

It's hard to argue with an inexpensive laser printer that costs $73 shipped. It does a fine job with text, but has a few disadvantages as mentioned above. Replacement toner is expensive, but it can be refilled with aftermarket toner if you're willing to void your warranty.

Great printer. Excellent output quality and very fast. Most of all, the toner cartridges are refillable. (Those purchasing genuine toners should realize that they are very expensive).

You cant kill this thing. Mine has been through a fire, subsiquent flooding, and still goes strong. There was a half inch of water sitting in it for a week, I dried it out not expecting much, and today it spits out perfect pages as fast as it did the day i bought it! Would def. recomend it. The odd page after a long print run will come out singed on the end, but thats about the only negative i can think of. Did i mention its a trooper?
