Despite it's currently bad comparative pricing, this model is still a great one. It plays first-person shooting games smoothly at reasonably high settings and it's got enough RAM to fully make use of two monitors. Keep an eye on this card for when NCIX puts it in the clearance bin... until then, you're best looking for something cheaper.

Well this is a good card and it works great for everything I use. Ran Crysis SP demo at most settings high, some very high, at constant 50fps. The only problem is that the new 8800GT 512MB has been benched better than the 8800GTS and it's cheaper. So, I actually recommend that.

I was really happy with this card, up until I found out about the 8800GT. However, I can't complain about the performance. It ran Bioshock on max, as well as Call of Duty 4. I tried the Crysis Demo, and it detected everything on High. Overall it's great, but I wish I would've held out for the 8800GT, which apparently gives more bang for the buck.

The GTX is a bit too expensive even for my blood... but with the GTS I can run any game at max res with everything on and it won't skip a beat. I love that new card "I can run anything feeling".
So far this card has allowed me to play CS:Source at 1600x1200 16xAF, 4xAA without a glitch. The video card itself runs very quiet at stock 60% fan speed. I was able to use RivaTuner to automatically dial up the fan speed during gaming to keep it cool. It never goes past 76C on load. I have never payed $400 for a video card but this card should last me a good while before it starts to get bogged down by new games. Very pleased with my purchase.

It hasnt went down in price too much compared to other nvidia cards. (purchased mine at 400). It is a great card. However after owning it, I kinda wish I purchased the lower 320mb model. I havent been using it to its fullest advantage. Also since I hate vista i havent moved to dx10 yet. At this point in time, i think the card is a lil overprice sitting at $390
