A double core processor for around 60$ is a excellent choice. Best bang for the bucks. Go with it without an hesitation if this is at a good price.

With 65 nm process it runs at low temperature and will perform very well in a budget system aimed towards web and office applications. Also very suitable for entry level HTPC as had happen in my case.

What can you say? It's cheap, cheap, cheap! These are great for business or budget situations. Remember it's a dual core and over 2 Ghz. It wasn't that long ago when these were running my main machine.

Have used numerous of these for friends and family as they are competent,cheap and reliable. Easy, stable overclocks to the 2.6-2.8ghz range and more with a good board and hardware. Certainly met my needs for a budget/moderate all around/games machine.

Nothing to complaing about at all. The stock cooler keeps my CPU at 29C idle and 36C at full load. This is all with a minor OC to 2.4GHz (motherboard won't support anymore). It runs silently and very cool. GREAT processor for the price. I play crysis at medium settings with this and a 7900GS XT 256MB.
This went into a budget system and for the price, the cpu does the job. I am very happy with it. It doesn't get hot like my old Athlon 64 3000+ and is much faster. Dual core for that price is really nice. Since this in a HTPC system, there's no need for overclocking but I bet it overclocks fine.
