Other than it having Vista on it sucking so much RAM I can't complain, it's been amazing so far.(yeah I reformatted and put winXP pro on it, works much better) I bought this laptop for university, but I wanted something that I could game on and that would last me a while also, and that's surprised me. I've installed all the games I have(ranging from quake/doom 1-2, to quake 4, oblivion, stalker, far cry, etc) and they all run perfectly on high/maximum settings. The processor and ram are great for multi-tasking also. The processor is amazing at video encoding too. Sony Vegas works quick rendering with the 2.0ghz T7200. Also the guys below are talking about a low battery life, but what i'm getting is about 2 hours while just word processing/surfing/listening to music. You won't ever get amazing battery life while gaming, so I can't complain about that. Overall I took a hard look at the laptop market before I bought this one, and in my opinion I'd have to say this is one of the top gaming laptops on the market right now for the price you can steal it at This review was modfied by poster r 05-24-07 02:09 PM

Excellent laptop. Perfect multi-tasking laptop. Use for gaming as well as business with no performance issues. Majority of games played will perform at high performances. Ready out of the box. Although the battery does run out relatively quick, it does have several battery modes that can be adjusted for longer life but you are sacrificing brightness on the screen. The one touch buttons are also a nice feature, such as the adjusting of screen contrasts/brightness. For the price i believe this is one of the best prices for a gaming/business laptop out there.

I recently purchased this laptop mainly for schoolwork, as I am taking Game Design classes at my college, and man was I impressed. Not only does it not get any slowdown at all during my game design, but it also has plenty of extra horsepower to do whatever else you need at the same time. The powerful processor will allow you do multitask like never before. I recommend upgrading it to 2gb memory for maximum performance, but even with just 1gb this laptop is a beast.
