Great 768p Picture Quality
Single HDMI Port
Shared Component/VGA Audio
Shared SVideo/Composite Audio
No Tuner (It's just a big monitor)
Grey (Black is cooler)
I've had this HDTV for a while now. It's my first and I've really loved it so far. I use it with my MythTV/Windows HTPC (DVI->HDMI), Nintendo Wii (Component), and Shaw Digital Cable (SVideo). No dead pixels on arrival, and the 768p (1360x768) quality is really good.
The greatest issue is the limited number of ports in the back.. One HDMI, VGA, Component, SVideo and Composite. Worse yet, there are only three audio ins.. One for HDMI, one for Component/VGA, and one for SVideo/Composite. The Video signals can each be viewed, but you'll need some sort of audio splitter if you really pile on the older stuff. My setup just happens to avoid this, but if I got ShawHD it might be an issue. I use it almost exclusively for my HTPC and the Wii, so it's not been an issue.
The ports are also all at the back and bottom, making it difficult to quickly hook up a component or composite device.
There's no Tuner (You need the 537 for that) but in this age of digital cable, who hooks up Co-ax to the TV anyways?
Just a word of warning, and I'm posting this review now so that this is documented. This is true of all Olevia screens apparently. If you hook this up to a computer you may notice that the displayed screen looks like it's zoomed in about 3-4%, and the pixels on the outside of the screen are cut off... Look for a hidden menu option called "Cropping" and turn it off (It's on by default). This will remove the default underscan and improve your picture quality. I just fixed this and my picture quality jumped... the monitor actually scales the 1360x768 up slightly causing some artifacts... with cropping off this goes away. The cropping is really annoying and I'm pleased there's a TV fix for this issue rather than me playing with XWindows to try and find a software fix.
For the price, I really do love this TV. I'd get a second one, but it wouldn't fit in my house!

Online/Tech Support and CSR Olevia 3 Series "No TV Tuner" Disclaimer
Your Olevia 3 Series 27 ", 32", 37", and 42" HDTV- Ready LCD Monitors are designed to display video from any video source that can produce a resolution of up to 1080i. These TV Monitors do not have a tuner built-in. They do have HDMI, Component, S-Video and Composite inputs where you can plug in hardware such as Cable/ Satellite Receivers, DVD Players, VCRs, and Game Consoles. Cable and satellite receivers function as Tuners which change the channel of programs from your Cable or Satellite provider. A VCR can be utilized in the same way because it also has a built in TV Tuner and can also change channels from Basic Cable TV or "over the air" Analog and Digital reception. Additionally, separate Tuner Boxes, sold as Digital HD Tuner Receivers, can be used specifically with the Olevia 3 Series Products.
