Pros Runs great, good graphics on my two 24" Samsung LCDs Easy enough to stick a full coverage water block on, and runs relatively cool when water cooled
Cons Price/performance is kind of hard to justify over say a GTX or GTS, but I haven't OCed my unit yet, so we'll see if that makes up for it
Summary Overall, a very nice graphics card, best I've ever had (though that's not saying much). Was easy to remove to stock cooler and put a water block on. Can't really comment on whether it runs quiet or not, 'cause I never turned it on with the stock cooler on it... Have yet to overclock it, but I have good expectations for it's performance in such a situation.
Pros * It's a muscle card... if you want the toughest baby for your games, this is what you need. It will be a while before something out there warrants the purchase of a new card after you get this.
Cons * Big... very big, I had to move my hard drives to make room for it. * Some of the EVGA logo fell off as I was putting the card in. * Takes a lot of power and generates heat even when idle.
Summary Bought this card as an upgrade to move into the world of DirectX 10 games on Vista. It is the best graphics card I have ever owned and would recommend it to anyone. I have the settings set to the maximum for most of the games I play and still see an increase of performance over what I had.
Installation was a bit tricky, because of the size. The EVGA logo seems to have very cheap glue, as some of it fell off while I was putting the card in, so I removed the logo entirely because I wouldn't want it loose within the case while the system is running. I did have to move my hard drives around to make room for it, since my case is old and not designed for the size of these new cards, but did manage to get everything to fit in nicely together.
Only real weakness is the fact that it takes so much power. Since it uses 2 PCIe power connectors, I have none left (but I'm not planning to do SLI). The power also means it produces a lot of heat, but I expected it with the raw performance it is providing. The cooling unit seems to do a good job venting the extra heat out the back though, as the heat around my other components as remained about the same, but I wouldn't recommend playing games in a small room with no windows for hours on summer days. I can't really give an oppinion on the noise level, since my system is a real wind tunnel to begin with.
Pros Great fast card with lots of graphics processing power.
Cons Stupid high pitch noise that comes from the power supply on the card during different times of load. Loading Crysis causes the card to sound like it is dying a painful death. Once you are in the game it is ok, but those 999FPS loading screens really piss the card off.
HEAT! This thing runs at 50-60c IDLE. Rear slot cooler recommended to clear out dead area of HOT air that forms under the card.
Summary Would buy again, but I really hope they get the annoying noise fixed as it is, well annoying. This is my 2ND EVGA product and I've had no problems so far. Would be nice to find some aftermarket cooling now.

Pros One of the best out there, High Mem, High speed, charges it's way through anything so far...
Cons Most expensive piece in my computer, Large size
Summary All in all, I LIKE THIS CARD. Best Vid-card i've ever owned. Will pump out the highest resolution and graphics in Crysis at around 20 fps on a 22" Samsung and it looks sweet. Despite it's large size, it fits into the NCIX XION 2 ATX case with room to spare, about 1 inch to drive bays. Have had no issues with it so far, and hope never will. Can't wait for more dx10 games to come out.
Pros Will play any games out there at 1920X1200 without a problem. Drivers support from Nvidia is up to par. Lifetime warranty from Evga is what made me shell out the extra cash for this card. Well worth it IMHO
Cons Heat , basically, This card will run at 60-75 degrees Celcius all the time.
Summary The ultimate test for this card will be Crysis at 1920X1200. Def a card that will be good for the next generation of gaming. The card itself is so ahead of it's time, Wouldn't suprise me to see a tri-Sli setup with those in the near future, fully watercooled on a 780i motherboard.
Summary Hard to justify the price of the 8800 Ultra over the GTX, but the high clocks, overclock headroom, and leetness factor make up for it.
It can run just about ANY game on max settings at 1600x1200 with great framerates, except for Crysis. Maybe it's NVidia's drivers, or Crysis' shader code? Who knows...
If you want to purchase this card, make sure you buy it during a promotion or rebate special otherwise you're just paying for the luxury of having the fastest and not necessarilty the best bang for your buck.
