Slick design, silent, cable management
This a very good looking and silent case. The p182 have great power management wich is a great improvement over the p180.

This is the best Antec case arround, way better than the hundred series.

Wonderfull cable management
Great airflow
I got this for a customer who needed alot of space and little noise. This did the job perfectly and i was able to route all the cable behind the MB. The customer asked where were all the cables when i open the case!

Experience: 9 Months
Very quiet case. Good air intake filters. Room for 6 hard disks that are fan cooled and vibration dampened
Heavy. Requires power supply with very long 8 pin CPU cable.
Very quiet case. Good air intake filters. Not a flashy case. Heavy and requires the use of a power supply with very long 8 pin cpu cables.

The case has room for 6 hard disks that are fan cooled and vibration dampened. However very long graphics cards fit tightly.

-great case made of quality material with no compromise
-fully customizable
-very quiet

-nothing i can think off
i got it at the great price, and i dont think i will need a new case for couple of years, due to the fact this case is very quiet and provides amazing air flow

if you pursue silence get this

Nice finish, all components including the gtx295 fit nicely
loud fans, unable to change position of fans, manual controll for fan speed, price
I love this case. It was very easy to put together and you can do some funky setups with cable managment. I just wish the fans were better quality and were more quiet. I also wish the sock fans were BIOS/OS controlled vs manual speeds.

Big, Plenty of Room for Hardware :)
Dust Filters
Lack of Shark Edges inside the case
Excellent Cable Management
Door Hinges are fragile, mine broke.
Overall i'm quite pleased with this case, it structure ensures a quiet sounding PC.

It has a very good cable management feature, and there's no sharp edges inside the case on the sheet metal.

Sound Dampening
Good Looking
Heavier than average
Primarily Plastic
No Speaker
Poor Audio Ports
The Antec P182 is a well designed midtower. However the overall strength of the case is suspect as many joints as well as the hooks of the side panels are made of plastic. Even so it is heavier than most cheaper cases. The case lacks a speaker connection, so motherboard diagnostic beeps cannot be heard - although many cases nowadays lack this feature. The front audio ports also introduce significant noise to both input and output.

These faults aside, the primary function of this case is to dampen sound and it does a very good job. However for those who plan to run this case during the nighttime should note that the power LED is a bright blue, which may be distracting - although this can be easily solved by not attaching the appropriate connectors.

Looks good!
Very clean design
A little cramped, especially with a big graphics card.
It's a good case, very well designed. There are no sharp edges on the case (rolled corners), so no sliced hands from building your system. The silicon grommets are a nice touch to keep the noise down. It is a little cramped, and somewhat timeconsuming to install the PSU, but otherwise, a very good case.

Experience: 1 Years
Sturdy, quiet, good thermal design. No rough edges. No ugly cheap plastic typical of many "performance" cases.
Large, heavy, expensive.
This is a fantastic case. It looks good and allows a pretty clean installation (cables can be routed in a cavity behind the motherboard). There are no sharp edges, and hard drives are mounted in removable cages (with silicone grommets to reduce transmitted vibration/noise).

The lower chamber for a PSU really does a good job of thermal isolation. Even with a couple of HDDs in the lower cage, the cool air flows freely. Also, hot air from my GPU/CPU doesn't affect the PSU. One caveat with this approach: make sure your PSU cables are long enough to reach the motherboard connectors.

The front door does a good job of dampening sound from optical drives, but this can be a problem when you finish burning a DVD...the door blocks the drive from opening. While the door does open 270 degrees, it does not have any form of latch (magnetic or otherwise), so unfortunately the door may swing freely. Given that the hinges are made of plastic, this could cause problems if you accidentally walk in front of the case at the wrong time.

This is a fantastic case for near-silent computing. The included Tri-Cool fans are good and quiet on 'low' setting, but the true silence-seekers will want to replace them with something a little less audible.

A handle would have been nice. Trying to move this case to access the rear ports can be a challenge at times. There is a recess on the back that you can grab onto, but the front 'door' must be opened to get any grip on the front of the case...and since it is plastic, the front flexes quite a bit when you lift it (more than I'm comfortable with).

The removable air filters are easy to remove and clean. No need to lift or adjust the case. A great feature.

Behind-the-motherboard cable routing is a neat feature that really cleans up the installation and improves airflow. Careful though...some thick PSU cables (or overlapping cables) can be thicker than the space allows, causing the side panel to bulge and/or fit incorrectly.

The case itself doesn't really offer much in the way of tool-less installation. Optical drives are provided with rails that allow you to quickly slide them in/out, but you need to screw the rails in first. Same with the hard drives...the cages remove without tools, but you need to screw the drives to the cages. Antec provides plenty of screws/standoffs, and there is a built-in 'toolbox' behind one of the drive cages.

Then there's this strange vent hood/spoiler that rests on the top of the case. I have no idea what that's all about...I suppose it prevents you from blocking the top fan exhaust with books (or another PC...don't laugh, I stacked a second mATX PC on top of this baby, but with plenty of room for the exhaust).

Overall, I'm very pleased. I see myself using this case as long as the ATX form factor is in use (or until USB3 'forces' me to upgrade). I've dealt with dozens of cases over the years, but this is by far the best I've had the pleasure to work with.

-Design is super
-Good Ventailation
-Aluminium FTW
-Heavy Beast
An excellent design.. can be a massively cool case with multiple PWM fans (Arctic Cooling esp) installed and be whisper quiet as well. Got it on sale for $40 which makes it an amazing value... Only big down point is Antec being beyond stupid and not only not including a 3.5" adapter but still not even having it properly available to order. And the one from the 900 model is not the same fit.
