This is a great choice for a gamer who doesn't want more then 1 video card. The only bad thing about this motherboard is that the on board sound isn't that good and you'll probably need to buy a sound card, but if you don't mind doing that then i highly recommend this motherboard.

Pretty good motherboard for the price (~80 after MIR). Looks good, and was easy to install. Just download the latest drivers for the chipset via Nvidia.com and Realtek or use the included drivers on the CD. Works perfect with E2160, 2x1GB Crucial Rendition, GeForce 6600. Runs stable at stock, and stable at 2.5 Ghz 1.1V, a moderate overclock. Overall, nice motherboard, though better support for fan control would be better. Also, if you overclock, the CPU fan speed will automatically be set to 100%. This problem can be easily solved by using SpeedFan.

Got this paired up with a e6400 cpu. Makes a good combo. Northbridge got hotter than I liked. Swapped out the passive NB heatsink with a evercool cooler.

Got it for my room mate, we use it to play battlefield 2, its good for a budget set up, using it with a X1950Pro, does well enough for the card, if you wanna save a buck and not get a complete piece of, um, anyway, start with this.

Solid no-frills board for the price. Decent overclocker though additional board cooling is almost a requirement. Full paper user manual would have been nice, as would additional USB ports either on back panel or on IO card.
