Pros

20 bucks on special is what i paid for this about a year and a half ago, and it still works!
Cant go wrong with something capable of free internet access
Cons
You might feel a tingly sensation in your brain if your sitting near your comp lol_lol
Summary
I would buy this again if I was on a really small budget.
Probably best to go with something similar but more range.
I only use this as a last resort to internet access because you will lose your connection frequently.
3 stars cuz the price is right

Pros

Cheap and worth trying I guess. I experimented with it a bit but found it buggy and un-ASUS-like
Cons
Disconnections, setup trouble, Vista trouble... quite a pain really
Summary
Once you get it to work, you'll be OK with it (except some disconnection trouble).. but it certainly is a big pain setting it up on Vista. I suggest reading as much as you can about this card before buying it, or if you did, before setting it up - hit the GOOGLE !

Pros

Nice paperweight.
Cons
Anything remotely connected to performing the function of a wireless card.
Summary
I have to say that this card works GREAT!... For the first five minutes. Then it dropped my wireles connection and would only register a signal for brief moments. I have 64 bit vista... tried cd drivers, tried website drivers, even tried drivers from other comanies in the hopes that it would work. The brightside? It now serves as a semi neat paper weight.

Pros

cheap price
Cons
doesn't work
Summary
this wireless card can't hold a connection with the router (WRT54GL). it drops the connection all the time making this card USELESS. i've tried this card under winxp and vista and neither works. so i bought an AIRLINK AWLL6070 and that worked perfectly! therefore this POS asus is not worth the headache... DO NOT BUY THIS ASUS CARD, SPEND YOUR MONEY ON ANOTHER WIFI CARD!

Pros

cheap price
Cons
incompatible with some routers. cd doesn't come with 64bit drivers as wel
Summary
installed it for a friend and it's been fine so far. Signal seems really good and stable. does what it's supposed to

Experience: 5 Months

Pros

Small card, cheap.
Cons
Constantly dropping out and not connect at full speed. Tried Broadcom drivers, which is a bit better, but still not functional.
Summary
Finally gave up and robbed a 3 year old D-Link from my spare computer, which worked perfectly from the get go.

Don't waste your time with this at any price. A name brand card like D-Link or Linksys would save you a lot of headache.

Pros

Works well at the beginning.
Cons
Becomes unstable after about a year.
Summary
Works like a charm from the start. In about half a year, the internet connection becomes extremely unstable and inconsistent: speed goes up and frequently down, internet disconnects about every 5 min. I have a Belkin wireless-N network adapter on another computer and it doesn't have any problemat all and neither does my D-Link wireless-G router.

Pros

It got me on the internet
Cons
False information?
Summary
' Easy installation and management

* Seamless Microsoft XP zero-configuration integration with advanced utilities and common GUI for legacy OS
* Easy to use with WHQL certified drivers for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows 98 SE and Linux Redhat (version7.1 or later)
* Profile Auto-Switch function enables seamless roaming between home, office and cafes . '
This WASN'T easy to install OR manage right now. ndiswrapper didn't work using the driver from the cd. The kernel drivers needed b43-fwcutter installed which I would have needed internet for, then I need internet yet again for the drivers them selves. I got it natively working with linux(if you want to call it that) I can't keep a staple connection what so ever. This card DOES work under linux but if you are running gentoo or any other distro that you edity our own kernel be prepared to do a little work and find a way to download all the stuff needed.

Experience: 2 Weeks

Pros

-Low Price
-Easy Setup
Cons
-None
Summary
Can't really complain. Plugged it in and installed the drivers. Connected to my network with no problems. The user interface is easy to follow. It does what I expected.

Experience: 60 Days

Pros

- Includes regular PCI bracket as well as low profile bracket!

- Works natively on Linux 2.6.26 and up (bcm4318 chipset) - no more ndiswrapper - yay!

- Works perfect on 64bit linux.
Cons
- None that I've noticed, but I only use 64bit linux with no wireless encryption, so not sure how many other people this review is applicable for.
Summary
Yay no more ndiswrapper. Yay low-profile bracket. If you're looking for a great linux-friendly wireless card, look no farther. Might even work on linux 2.6.24. Linux 2.6.26 and up are golden.
