magic speed
Enables flexibility of drive operation: low noise mode or high-speed mode. User can choose between maximum speed mode and low noise mode. Low noise mode minimises disc damage and reduces noise created while playing in high speed in order to give stable PC environment. Simple setting up to high-speed mode for maximum speed.
double OPC
Optimising the laser power for the most reliable writing in DVD+R. Usually the outer side of the disc has lower writing quality because of the vibration and swaying of the disc makes the servo signal worse. Double OPC technology enables the laser power on each area in order to perform the most reliable writing.
tilt A.C.T-tile actuator compensation technology
For reliable writing in all areas of the disc. Give an accurate tilt in the objective lens to compensate the disc twist.
Buffer Under Run free technology
Prevents Buffer Under Run and enables high speed writing. Buffer Under Run occurs in high speed writing, when writing speed is faster than data transfer speed. Buffer Under Run technology prevents the Buffer Under Run Error and it enables Multitasking on the PC. Supports high speed writing even in low performance PC.
eco-product
Minimum usage of environmentally harmful materials, helping preserve our environment. Provides eco-friendly product by adopting leadfree soldering technology. Environment harmful materials such as Po and halogen substances are 'intentionally' not used to preserve our environment.

I bought this great dvd burner for a customer that wanted to have ide burner on his old computer. It installed flawlessly with no problems. It burned well for the first time and I noticed there was not too much vibrations coming from the drive. You should check this drive in special for about 20$! you won't regret it.

A decent DVD burner for a great price. Bought during one of the sales and it's been a solid performer ever since. Burn quality is decent and this burner doesn't seem to have any problems with any media I've used on it so far. Only thing is that it can get a big loud though, incase that matters to anyone who seeks to have silence. Another thing is that it's IDE, so you'll be stuck using a fat old IDE cable with this drive. Want SATA? Look for the newer models.

Great little piece of device. Just plugged in the device and it works right away. Cheap and affordable equipment. very light and disks burn great using this burner. Sometimes when burning, the disk will spin really loud. overall, it is very good and reliable.
