In the end the new G15 is much friendlier and still a very capable gaming keyboard that the vast majority of gamers will be much happier with than the original G15 keyboard. The smaller footprint more than makes up for the missing G keys in my opinion and the software is as easy to use as it always
I was split on how to evaluate the new G15. On the one hand, it is a very capable gaming keyboard, with many features that other keyboards, save the original G15, just don't have. The extra keys, customizability and the excellent LCD make for a kickass keyboard, one that deserves to be with any game

I got this way back when it was on sale on NCIX for 50 bucks and I gotta say it was worth every penny. I use a lot of different programs on it for my LCD. I use it to change songs in winamp, monitor my CPU and GPU temps, and monitor my bandwidth I'm using. I do all this while I am gaming and its so awesome to have while not having to alt+tab out of a game just to change a song or something.

Overall, really nice keyboard. everthing is all fine with it. no cons, by the way i could enjoy a key to choose what i want the lcd to display, but I this is the only thing i would improve on it. the price is decent, and i don't see why i would spend more for a g19.

This keyboard has a great deal of community behind it and I would say that even though the price is a bit steep by NCIX's standards, it's still worthwhile to own. It works superb both under Linux and Windows and doesn't require a lot of technical knowhow to get it working. Winamp support is available right out of the box so there is no need to fiddle around to get it initially going.

other then one of the media buttons on the top by the screen breaking this has been a great keyboard i love the layout of the keys very soft and easy to type for hours with the G keys for gaming arnt in the best place but i do use some for hot keys. i picked mine up for sale for 80$ would buy it again no questions asked

This is an awesome keyboard. Love the screen. I use it more for multimedia purposes. Shows song tracks and such. Very nice bling factor to add to any rig. The orange backlit looks kinda dim and not exactly a great colour. Still a great keyboard though. Very good buy if you can get it on sale.

Nice keyboard, the lcd are smaller than the previous version of the G15 but you dont have to flip the LCD to pull out you keyboard from under the desk. Game mode that disable the windows button to avoid returning to the desktop in the middle of a first person shooter or something.. :)
