Although they push the budget a little from a mere $12 to whopping $30 from some stores, excellent cooling and noise reduction make this product highly recommended.
It really does tick all the boxes, by providing the airflow of a high-performance fan while producing the same noise as fans that have needed to compromise airflow to obtain their low decibel output.
Once again Noctua doesn't disappoint. The NF-P12 produces a decent airflow, a high static pressure and is extremely quiet. This fan is perfect for low-noise CPU, radiator, PSU or case cooling.
It’s incredible the volume that this fan produces and equally incredible when you see not only the airflow figures but the static pressures. It obvious that this fan has been designed for watercooling setups where static pressure plays a large role.

This is not made to be a case fan. It's meant to cool precise areas like a CPU radiator. Not meant to be in a push/pull config. Push/Pull will cause whistling and no gains. You do not need push/ pull with this fan.

Great fan. I couldn't stand stock 70mm fans in my Xbox 360 console. The noise was unnecessary and when they wind up to maximum rpm when the Xbox was hot, the sound drowned out the game and was unbearable. It was akin to a F-4 Jet takeoff mixed with a leaf-blower. After ploughing through hours of online forums, useless meandering, a limited selection of products claiming reduced overall noise (while brandishing pretty LEDs and other useless paraphernalia) in what proved to be a dead end task, I knew what I had to do. Several years ago this console went back to the manufacturer for repairs, and came back with the same heatsink and fan combo. My old PC which is about 14 years of age has the exact same heatsink, and that heatsink is aluminum and only rated for 50W dissipation with convection assistance. If there was a copper one to fit, I'd buy it. Clearly, the "maximum savings!" sirens and strobe lights went off inside the XBox marketing department and someone decided to use a 50W rated heatsink on a CPU that dissipates 100W. No more reeling around the fountain, indeed...
The noctua NF-P12 is very quiet even without adapters with an improved static pressure. Very good build quality of the fan and cabling. Long lasting, self stabilizing bearing. Nicely packaged with good 6 Year Warranty.

I just got these fans, 5 of them and they are amazing. Can't hear a thing and I have them controlled by NZXT Mesh. Moves a lot of air. Huge difference between these (4 in use) compared to the 200mm that came with my HAF XM.
The other reviews have said it all. These fans have amazing cooling. I have used them in a few high end client builds. They are very quiet, and offer awesome cooling performance. They are not the cheapest out there, but as with anything, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend these for a high end to top tier system.
