Shows the difference in speed and being that i own 3 Seagate 7200.10 320gb and 3 7200.11 500gb on 2 separate rigs let me tell yu the 500gb is about 5 degrees cooler and faster then the 320gb

This hard drive has functioned for over a year now and I haven't encountered any problems with it. It runs quickly and sits at a great price while still being very quiet.

I bought this hard drive for my first custom built computer. Works fine- fast and quiet in CM 690 case. Didn't have any problems out of the box, and hasn't crashed since.

Bought 7 like this and nothing to complain exempt i had to update the firmware on 2 drive due to slow performance on small file. Should be fix to any drive now so don't worry guys. Best performance/price Recommended

This drive failed thought all my data was gone, ncix.com new I bought one and never notified me of the potential problem of the firmware. I don't come back and read reviews after I buy, I did come back this time because I was going to leave a bad review and discovered the problem with the firmware. It would apear ncix.com new of the problem and if they didn't they sure should have with all the bad reviews, and they let me risk my data and say nothing. The only saving grace is Seagate applied the firmware patch successfully, no thanks to ncix.

This Internal hard drive is a very good product for its price. It is relatively fast and easy too install. However, you might wanna to keep in mind, that this hard drive makes an awkward buzzing sound that is quite noticeable when you are transferring something to or from it. Over all this hard drive is definitely a good product for its price.
