Bought these for a friend to bring his system up to 8 GB. He already had a set of OCZ Reapers with identical timings and we were able to make the two play nice together after manually setting the timings on his mobo. I know one should generally not mix and match RAM, but with the same timings and speed it seemed like a worth-while gamble, as his CPU heat sink would block another set of OCZ Reapers.

I use alot of gskill ram for custom builds and this works as good as all the rest I have tried. Installs and works every time with Gigabyte boards.

Just something for the guy who is saying his RAM is running at 400 MHz instead of 800. Please don't review a product when you don't even know what you're talking about. Go to Wikipedia and try to learn a lot about how frequencies are calculated. Look for what does "dual channel" mean too.

This is some of the best DDR2 memory on the market. You cannot go wrong when purchasing G.Skill memory. I have yet to have a memory module fail, and they have always been compatible with any motherboard from ASUS or Gigabyte I have used.

I alreay have the 2GB kit of this ram with the same specifications. I bought this 4GB kit to match that kit. I now have 6GB of g skill running in my machine and they've worked great. I would recommend this g skill ram to anybody looking for a good price and value. I will definately buy this brand again.

These rams are the ones you must get. For the price, these are 100% worth it. Make sure the board you are getting can have a row cycle of 48.
